Here’s a great all original piece of American steel from the ‘80’s, ready to be a daily driver or classic cruiser with just 69,340 original miles. It has always been adult owned and garaged or under a carport. Runs like a top and is fully serviced with everything working as it should. Drive it anywhere without hesitation. MECHANICAL: The 318 V-8 runs just like a Chrysler product of that vintage should. Recent complete full tune-up (including plugs & wires, fuel & air filter), transmission fluid & filter change, and new U-joints. Has newer battery and the brakes are good. Tires are a matched set of newer premium Michelins with 75%+ tread left. The transmission shifts smoothly and the engine runs great. Remember, this is a carbureted car and takes a minute to warm up. It still has the lean-burn ELECTRONIC FUEL CONTROL SYSTEM, which can be replaced with a standard carburetor to improve performance if desired. It has the typical Chrysler “clunk” when put in reverse, which is normal and not a problem. The car drives straight down the road. OPTIONS: This is the top of the line SE package equipped with power windows, power door locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, power driver’s seat, original FM/AM stereo with power antenna, and air conditioning of course. Everything works as it should. This package also includes the vinyl top and wire wheel covers. INTERIOR: Excellent interior with only the slightest wear showing in very few places. The dash is perfect. The original carpet and upholstery is amazing with no sun fade. The headliner, sun visors, and rear sail panels were professionally recovered a year ago and are perfect. The steering wheel if free of cracks or other problems. The door panels are excellent as well. Very comfortable. Two sets of original keys and owner’s manual. The windows have a professional light tint for privacy and to protect the interior. BODY/EXTERIOR: No underbody/frame or panel rot of any sort (just the normal usual superficial surface rust staining as expected), never exposed to bad or salty roads. The paint is generally fair. Although the car has been properly cared for and under cover, the paint on the flat surfaces has thinned (trunk & hood): the trunk has gotten thin enough that it is just starting to rust stain through the thin paint (see pictures). The vinyl top is excellent. The car has a handful of door dings, nicks, and the left front fender tip has a crack in the fiberglass (see pictures). All paint is original as this car was never in an accident. Some of the factory striping had worn over time and been touched up professionally in places. The chrome is extremely nice. EXTRAS: You will get a NOS antenna mast to replace it should you ever break it (very hard to find so is great to have a spare). An extra oil filter is also included for your first oil change.
