This is a very rare 1946 Ford doctors, business coupe. These coupes are 6 inches shorter cab than a business coupe. This car was pulled out of the corner of a 78 year old mechanic friend of mine shop. A lady brought it to him for repair in the early 80's, he completely rebuilt the engine, new pistons, new rings, all new bearings, completely rebuilt the brakes and the clutch, new fly wheel and throw out bearing. The lady died and her family was not interested in paying the mechanics bill. Other than what I have stated above it needs to be completely restored. As you can see in the pictures there is a lot of surface rust and a small area of rust through under the right rear fender also a area under the rear bumper. I would like to state, the car needs a complete restoration. All new glass, new tires. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Also I can not open the hood the cable broke and I cannot open it. Bids are a contract and are binding, do not bid if you do not have the resourses to buy it. This is a real shop find. Really something to start with for all you Ford collectors.
