Private seller has owned vehicle since August 2003 when car was purchased from dealer with 24,717 miles. Was daughter's car for college. Purchased car with additional 100,000 mile warranty so vehicle has had all service and repair timely and has been maintained in great condition. Car curently has current Texas tags through August 2012. Car passed vehicle inspection September 9, 2011 and is current. This is a two owner car. The original black paint is in great condition. Very minor dings are shown in photos and are from typical parking lot action. The grey cloth interior is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or excessive wear. See detailed interior photos. Car is above average conditon as all glass, chrome, trim, wheels are in above average condition. Car is equipped with a very responsive and "peppy" factory 4.7 Liter V-8. Totally smoke-free vehicle. The entire headlight assemblies were replaced and are crystal clear and not foggy like this model normally is found. The car has had many recent and valuable repairs as outlined below: New Michelin LTX M/Z2 tires from Discount Tires in March 2010 at 89,300 miles. Tires have only 18,000 miles and are like new and retain full warranry and replacement for road hazard and transfers to new owner. Cost $973. Headlight Assemblies were replaced with new factory parts at $650 in 2007. These Jeep models have a tendancy to fog up and the cheap polish "fix" does not work. Now crystal clear! Front and rear disk breaks replaced at a cost of $725 in 2011. New starter in 2011at $475. New glass and window motor for $700 in 2009. Power Steering Pump replaced in 2009 $350. Oil and water temperature gauges replaced in 2011 $375. Custom Sony Radio/DVD 2009 $250. with removable face plate. New Battery 2010 $75. I wish to identify issues I have noted. I have not been a daily driver of this vehicle. It was my daughter's car. I have driven it and wish to note the following: Small dink in driver door window frame where someone tried to enter with a screwdriver (see photo), door ding in rear passenger door (see photo), Heater core had a small leak and was by-passed as Houston rarely gets cold. Fan motor and thermostat do function, appears to have a slow antifreeze leak dripping from radiator area, water temperature did rise and overheat, but dropped once antifreeze was added. Seems to drive fine now. New owner should investigate leak near radiator. I no longer have a need for this car. I have priced to sell. The only item that showed up was and FYI that car was titled in an area with a FEMA event designation. This vehicle has NEVER has any water damage and was actually not even in Houston for the 2008 Hurricane Ike event. The car was with my daughter at colllege far away from Houston and the hurricane.
