This classic Mercedes Benz 450SL has recieved most of the restoration required to refer to this roadster as being in mint condition. All service records and purchase receipts are archived for the new owner to review. I have invested far more into this automobile then I am asking for in return. Needless to say, I am sacrificing this car in order to remedy some difficulties that I am experiencing at this time. The title is clean and the registration is valid through December 2012. The restoration includes: Brand New Interior - Raul's Auto Trim est.1969, installed the interior in the color Camel; which includes the headliner of the hard top. The soft top is also brand new in the color Mocha. $6000 invested Engine Rebuild - I had the heads of the engine rebuilt. $4000 invested Trans. Rebuild - I had a total rebuild completed. $2500 invested Instruments/Controls - I had Walter's Mercedes of Riverside inspect and repair some issues with the dashboard and ventilation, including the power windows. $3000 invested Audio System - The head unit and 12 disk changer are Kenwood, which includes a hidden cassette player behind the detachable face plate. Boston Accustic and Pioneer speakers installed in a custom flush mounted speaker box behind the seats. The sound system is powered by two 600watt Jensen amplifiers, mounted in the trunk. Assorted - Battery, alternator, plugs, cold start valve, engine flush, etc. $1000 invested Paint - The original paint was a silver green,metallic. The original owner painted it in a very attractive cinniman metallic. Unfortunately the clear coat is pealing off. The paint is the only thing that is lacking on this Classic German Roadster.
