You are bidding on an unmolested, all original 1977 Lincoln Versailles with 75,000 original miles. Between 1977 and 2010 this car had only one owner who took excellent care of it. And it shows. Very few Versailles were made, and even fewer remain today. Examples such as this one, which is original and unrestored, are extremely hard to find. This car is especially unique because it has a factory 351 Windsor. The 351 engine was only available in 1977--later cars came with a 302. Included with the car is a lot of original paperwork and documentation including: the original owner's manual, factory build sheet, original Owner Card, original metal key code tags, warranty sheet, original Michelin warranty information, and spare tire instructions (see photo). Also included is an original 1977 Versailles shop manual, an original dealer brochure, along with the original dealer folder and plastic bag (see photo). The paint is original except for the right rear door, which was repaired and repainted by the original owner in the 1990s (have body shop receipt). There are a few minor dings here and there (remember that the car is 35 years old), but nothing major. The paint shows very nicely. Amazingly, everything works on this car works as it should--radio, interior lights, door locks, dash warning lights, clock, antenna, cruise control, cornering lights, horn, etc. When I purchased the car, I had four remanufactured Motorcraft window motors installed, so the windows (which are often a big problem on these cars) all work perfectly. The air conditioning works and blows cold. During my ownership, I also installed four new P 205/75R14 WSW Hankook Optimo tires ($425.21). Additionally, I had a remanufactured brake master cylinder installed (see photos). The original vinyl top is excellent, and the stitching is still completely intact (see photos). The leather interior is in excellent condition with no rips or tears. The headliner is in great shape with no tears or sagging. The handle on the driver's door is broken, but I have ordered a new one, and it will be installed before the buyer picks up the car. The car is a pleasure to drive in every way, and I would not hesitate to drive it cross country. This Versailles is priced to sell with a low reserve. Please contact me if you have any questions.
