You are looking at a 1965 Fiat 1500 Cabriolet. On behalf of one of our car club members we are offering the car as a running driving car that needs someone to buy the car and take over the restoration. It was purchased in Arizona a few years ago where the car was parked with a for sale sign near the Barrett Jackson Scottsdale auction. After inspection and driving the car it was purchased and brought to Southern California, and to eventually give the car a sympathetic restoration. The car is complete to the best of our knowledge. It has a new high quality paint job. The fit and finish to all openings and body panels is excellent. All the bright work has been either re-plated or cleaned to good quality. It has many new parts including a new NOS windshield, tail lights, tires and soft top kit to name a few of the more expensive items. The underside of the car still has it's original undercoat that shows little to no deterioration. There is superficial surface rust in the battery box and in the front foot wells. We have spent a few hours to get the car running and can report that the steering, suspension, brakes clutch and syncros all work very well. The engine has good power and does not smoke.
