Up for sale is my neighbors 1969 Pontiac GTO convertible. Over the past 2 1/2 years he has done every mechanical on the car from the radiator to the rear end. The car is a factory 4 speed convertible with AC....very rare GTO. Car was originally Cream color. 12 years ago the owner had the car stripped, three small areas of rust cut and repared correctly with steal, and repainted with 3 coats primer, 5 coats of Galveston Gray, and 2 coats of clear, then he lost interest. Jay purchased the car and finished what the previos owner did not finish. Here are some of the specs on the car.:\ Corredt WT motor but was not numbers matching. Motor was rebuilt by Basco Racing here in Gilbert AZ and no expense was spared. Have all receipts from all work. tranny was torn down, new syncs, new clutch, new lines, radiator rodded and recored, AC completely rebuilt, wheel bearings, tank, rear end, and the list goes on.... I am sure you get the idea. The car is mechanically nearly as perfect as can be. The top functions correctly and is not slow or such. All new soft seals, new carpet, new interior, new tires, new wheels, new exhaust and again the list would go on..... I have full lists of everything so if you are questioning anything hopefully I can answer. All work and service has been documented and recorded by both owners. This car is fast, drives straight as an arrow and as you can see is dead sharp!!! The paint was just wet sanded and buffed as the final step and now is elbow deep. Top is in excellent condition with no tear or issues with the window at all. I am sure there are many things I could go into on the car but the pictures should speak for themselves. He is very serious about selling so the reserve is low, pleased bid to win.
