1947 Jeep CJ-2A parts car for sale. Original vehicle, serial number 18498, with later F head replacement engine, number 4J289788, attached to the original driveline. 80,000 miles on odometer which is probably correct. No title. Last registered in 1978. I purchased in 1980 and used on farm for 5 years at which point it was parked in cold stoarge until 2 months ago; so was in storage about 25 years. Differentials, transfer case, 4wd all there. Ran well but was tired when parked. Mechanically complete and worked fine except second gear synchro was slow. Engine currently stuck but should be a good core. Body is rusty as shown in pictures. Hole cut in hood for F head carb. Dash and instruments are pretty good. Firewall has never deen cut up. Has original tailgate. Original windshield frame is off car and has been damaged over the years, fixable with some effort. Uhderside and frame are very rusty as shown in pictures. Will have to be trailered to it's new home, U bolts attaching rear end to springs are weak. Great parts car. LOCATED IN CENTRAL CONNECTICUT. Contact me if any specific questions.
