This wagon came too me from Indiana from a Wana-be Mercedes Wagon Owner and he was over his head. The wagon has been in my care for about 2 years and honestly been a challenge at times. I started by getting the basket case into running condition-did a Manual transmission swap as transmission was not shifting correctly. The manual transmission went well with no real problems it still needs a boot on the shifter. The underhood condition is the real solid part of this car its a non-turbo 5 cly Diesel that after being parked outside all winter started today without being plugged in just put the key in and started without hesitation. The engine has little too none blow by and runs very nice. The engine runs very well with no known problems. The car moves thru the gears as it should also without no known problems. This Wagon had a California Title when I got it and now has a clear Michigan title ready too be signed over too the next owner. The body coming from California isn't terrible but certainly not perfect or with few dents and rust. The interior is clean but far from being anywhere near mint and heater has issues as only goes too Defrost but is blowing hot air as it should. I don't have the time or drive too get this car too outstanding condition but feel would make a very good driver. I wouldn't hesitate too drive it anywhere but I am not your normal driver as I have spent years honing skills that if something should happen along the way would be able too fix the ride. If your looking for PERFECT wagon this isn't it if you are looking for a wagon that is a Manual Transmission-That you could turn into a daily WVO car this is it. You will have too do some elbow grease too make it super nice but feel for the money its well worth the troubles. I could easily sell engine and Manual transmission if had too but feel this wagon shouldn't be parted as its too nice a car for that kind of project. It doesn't have a radio or A/C isn't working along with climate controls. The A/c looks like it was converted to R134 at some point and belt is on Compressor. I have roughly 3K in this wagon and my reserve is set at 2K which I feel is fair and the Car is BEING SOLD IN AS IS CONDITION and Payment is requested in CASH when car is pick-up.
