Vehicle Detail
1998.5 Audi A4. I am sad to see her go, but it was time for a new car. She runs amazing, perfect transmission (Using REDLINE MT90), clutch is still in good shape. Engine has always used Mobil1 Synthetic and runs very well. Recent timing belt change, as well as spark plug, water pump, fuel filter, belts, tensioner, & idler pulleys replaced. Heater is hot, AC is cool. Suspension was upgraded 2-3 years ago and is tight - all front links changed out as well as tie rods and 2 wheel bearings. Alignment was done after install. Brakes are fairly new, rears changed 5000k miles, fronts 10000 miles ago. The valve cover gaskets have been changed, and the interior (cam's, rods) look flawless. Mechanically this car is in gorgeous shape. She has some cosmetic work needing to be done - her clear coat is peeling on the hood and two other spots and will need attention. The leather in the front seat is ripped, glass is cracked in low part of window - but repaired professionally (I don't even notice it when I drive her). Her ABS computer is malfunctioning - this is a problem with Audi's of this year. Rebuilding through moduelmaster.com will get it working - doesn't impair breaking Check Engine - SECONDARY AIR INJECTION. The air pump that supplies air the the EGR during startup will need replaced - but does't impair driving in the slightest. The right rear wheel bearing will need changed. Little Audi needs a good home, the engine was built like a tank and it is still a nice car to drive. I still think she has 5-8 years left in her. I wish I had the time to iron out all of the kinks - hopefully you will. Call me with any questions 614-499-6641. I have been upfront and honest about everything about this car and there will be no surprises. On Jan-17-12 at 15:16:45 PST, seller added the following information: 1998.5 Audi A4 - 2.8 . There is not a drop of rust on the body or frame (they give these cars 100,000 mile rust warranty for a reason), and the exhaust is in excellent condition. Both flex pipes were professionally replaced 3 years ago. Thanks for the questions, feel free to ask away and I will post the good ones up here. -Dave
