The engine is paired with a 5-Speed Manual transmission and total fuel capacity is 2.6 gallons. The DR-Z 400S Base rides on Aluminum wheels with a 80/100 R21 front tire and a 120/90 R18 rear tire. The front suspension is a Telescopic Fork while the rear suspension is a Twin Sided Swing Arm. Front Hydraulic Disc brakes and rear Hydraulic Disc brakes provide for the stopping power.
