Vehicle Detail

Wow, I don't even know where to begin with this one... This is probably the lowest-mileage, most gorgeous and rare example of a Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor that you will ever find. Recently out of service from the United States Secret Service, on the west coast, with only 10,897 actual, documented miles and an unbelievably low 72 idle hours...this is a nearly brand-new example of a very rare, hard to find car in a very rare and very desirable color and it is loaded with rare options and equipment. As most of you know, I pride myself on selling the nicest Crown Victoria Police Interceptors you will find, but this car goes so far above and beyond even what I normally acquire, that it almost leaves me at a loss for words. This car is the most beautiful, lowest mileage example you will ever find...short of buying a brand-new one, and it is equipped with, literally, thousands of dollars worth of extra equipment as it was used as a presidential/executive detail unit, and never for anything else. These cars are kept in a protected, secure facility at all times when they are not being used, for obvious reasons. I want to stress, first and foremost, that this is not your typical Crown Victoria, as it was factory ordered with nearly every option you could get, including internal front-door, ceramic ballistic panels on both sides and laminated, protective safety glass on all windows. It is also equipped with a full array of LED lighting (grille and deck-mounted) and strobe lighting (front and rear), in addition to headlight flashers and a Federal Signal "Smart" audible warning system. All lighting and siren equipment is disconnected per eBay rules. Because of the need for these particular units to be completely untraceable, they were leased through a third-party leasing system to the federal government, at the time the lease expired it was then sold to us, and was able to be sold fully-equipped and operational as it was being sold by an entity other than the government directly. This unit was leased through a company in Florida, and shipped to the west coast where it has spent it's entire life. It has never seen any snow, salt or other inclimate conditions. It is truly as nice as any few-month old car you would see, literally. Let me start by saying, in all of my years of buying and selling police vehicles, I have not seen another single car that was ordered with this many options. Aside from being a Police Interceptor with the Street Appearance Package it also has, as I mentioned before, ballistic front door panels, laminated safety glass all around, 8-way power driver's seat, front and side impact air bags, traction control, cruise control, power windows, power locks, factory Ford police-prep wiring package with trunk-mounted radio/equipment shelf and pre-wired for lighting equipment and siren. These items, of course, are just the beginning of the list of equipment on this car. This car has a flawless vehicle history report (Carfax) and has never been involved in any type of accident or otherwise. In my years of buying and selling police vehicles, I have had no cars that even come close to the condition of this unit, it was well maintained and needed no repairs. This was a one-driver car, assigned to the U.S. Secret Service throughout the entire life of the car. This is the nicest, lowest mileage and probably the most rare car I have had the pleasure of offering for sale. It is finished in factory Formal Black Clearcoat with Dark Charcoal (black) interior including; 8-way power, velour cloth, front split-bench seat with dual, fold-down center armrests and velour cloth rear seating, full factory carpeting, cruise control, traction control, rear window defrost, power trunk release, power windows, power locks, auxilliary dome lamp, and factory AM/FM/Cassette stereo. Again, this car has only 10,897 actual, original miles on it. It has been extremely well-maintained and it shows. It has never been abused and it looks as close to new as you will ever find. The body is straight, beautiful and perfect. Crown Victorias like this one are becoming increasingly harder to find, so here's your opportunity if you've been looking for the nicest one you may ever find. This unit is as close to perfect inside and out as you will ever see, and is spotless under the hood as well...the engine compartment is absolutely gorgeous (please see the pictures). All of the factory floor mats are in place. All of the factory owner's manuals, etc. are in place in the glovebox. For those of you who know Crown Victorias, you will know that 2004 and newer are the years to have...they are the fastest Crown Victorias produced due to many changes in the intake system. Previously, the Police Interceptor produced 239 horsepower, but the 2004-newer Police Interceptor increased that number to 250 horsepower due to the addition of a new "Marauder" air intake system. This included a new airbox that resembles the Mercury Marauder airbox (raised airbox lid, deeper bottom), with a new, larger, integrated 80 mm (3.1 in) mass airflow (MAF) sensor that is part of the airbox lid. This allows for much more precise flow calibration and reduces the chances of air leakage. The P71 zip tube (the flexible rubber hose between the throttle body and MAF outlet) is also used to reduce NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) as well as transfer air from the airbox to the throttle body with minimal flow resistance. These are the Crown Victorias afficianados lust after, and this is an unmolested example. It is very responsive, smooth-shifting and, of course, very fast. Mechanically, of course, it is equipped with the full "Police Interceptor" package which includes the 4.6-liter H.O. engine, 4-speed overdrive heavy-duty transmission, 3.27 rear axle with traction control, noise suppression bond straps, lateral bow (roof) reinforcement, 235-55-17 Good Year Eagle RS-A police-spec, ultra-high performance radials that are mounted on the factory, heavy-duty, 17" vented police wheels with full, factory deluxe wheel covers, stainless-steel dual exhaust with factory crossover pipe, police-only lightweight balanced aluminum driveshaft, special police-spec heavy-duty frame, 4-wheel disc brakes, suspension, certified 140-mph speedometer, tachometer and much more. This unit is in near-mint overall condition, and the only thing keeping it from being brand-new are the 10,897 miles that it has been driven. It has been religiously maintained and has little to none of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used police vehicle. This vehicle, as most used vehicles do, will have imperfections...this typically includes; minute chips or nicks (any major damage will be noted in the description such as large dents, etc. and this car has none that I can find)...that being said, this car has no known mechanical defects and it runs and drives as new. Please, keep in mind, we strive to find the nicest used police vehicles possible, but they are still used police vehicles. DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP, A CAR LIKE THIS ONLY COMES ALONG ONCE IN A LIFETIME...THIS IS A VERY, VERY HARD TO FIND VEHICLE AND I DOUBT YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER FOR SALE IN THE NEAR FUTURE IN THIS CONDITION, IF AT ALL, AT NO RESERVE. As with all of our auctions, this is a no reserve sale. This 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor will sell to the high bidder at the end of the auction, please complete all inspections BEFORE bidding...if you win the auction, you own the vehicle. Because of increasing expenses in every regard, we have been forced to raise our fees by $50, this is the first time in ten years that we have done this, so hopefully you will understand. There will be a $175 documentation fee and a $15 title fee added to each sale, these will be the ONLY additional fees you will be responsible for, unless you reside in the state of Ohio, in which case you will need to pay the proper amount of sales tax, based on the current rate for the county in which you reside. Temporary 30-day plate and registration is also available for $18.50. We do not charge any additional fees and there are no hidden charges. Most sellers are charging double this amount currently. I welcome any and all questions you might have prior to bidding on this Crown Victoria. I do reserve the right to end the auction early if the vehicle sells locally prior to the end of auction (please call if you like). I am a law-enforcement officer as well and as such, work long hours so you are free to call me as late in the evening as you like. I can be reached anytime at (614) 893-3857. I will take calls 24/7 up until the end of the auction. Winning bidder agrees to forward a 25% partial payment (unless a lesser amount is agreed upon PRIOR to the end of the auction) at end of auction via direct bank wire transfer or by overnighted cashier's check, money order or certified funds. Balance will be due within seven days of end of auction or at time of pick up or delivery, whichever comes first. I will help in any way possible to arrange transportation. I can store the vehicle for up to 90 days, until pick up can be arranged, as long as it's paid for in full. I may be able to deliver this vehicle personally, depending on your location, at a reduced rate. I have been buying, selling and driving unique, specialty vehicles for over ten years now and take pride in offering only low-mileage vehicles that are not "run of the mill", beat-up cars and trucks. I specialize in the hard to obtain cars, SUV's and trucks, Dodge 5.9 Cummins and Ford 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel trucks, Chevrolet Impala and Caprice 9C1 and 9C3 police vehicles, collectible and rare cars, trucks and vans. If there are any questions at all, again, please don't hesitate to call me at (614) 893-3857. I will answer all e-mails as quickly as possible. Thanks and good luck! Because of people who bid and do not contact me or pay, I am being forced to implicate a rule pertaining to low-feedback bidders. ANY BIDDER WHO BIDS, WITH A FEEDBACK OF 5 OR LESS, WILL HAVE THEIR BID RETRACTED IMMEDIATELY unless they contact me first, prior to bidding. I hope everyone understands, and I thank our hundreds of happy customers, but a few bad apples have spoiled the proverbial bunch. Thanks for understanding. Please remember, this is a used government vehicle, and not new, although it is probably in better condition than most you will see. As such, it will have minor flaws consistent with the miles and age of the vehicle, and with government use. That being said, it is in impeccable shape and runs & looks as close to new as you will find. It is not what you would typically expect, or what you will find elsewhere for sale. Please, if you want to come and look at it, do so BEFORE bidding...or call me, as always, at 614-893-3857 or e-mail me and I will answer any questions you may have. Thanks!
