We will try this one again. The guy that had the winning bid failed to pay for it. PLEASE be serious if you bid on this car. 1991 Lotus M100 Elan, Red with Black, 25,900 miles. 162 hp 1.6 litre turbo engine, 5 speed gear box. This Elan has been sitting in storage for 3 years because the owner died and his survivors just decided to sell it. It starts, runs, shifts, drives and stops. The soft top is original and fraying and has a couple of tears, the soft top "clam shell" is cracked and out of alignment. It just needs realignment, and the passenger side front tip of the clamshell has broken off, a piece about the size of a quarter. and there is only one fire on the CarFax. The fire started in the brakes and was fully repaired. The Elan was the personal propety of Lotus service shop, Vara's Garage in Needham, Massachusetts, and always serviced. Sold AS-IS where is, and can be inspected in Needham, MA. No warning lights are on, a/c , windows, etc. all work.
