You are bidding on one (1) restored 1959 Ford F-100 Series Pick-Up Truck with the much sought after step side bed. Lets start with the mechanic's of the truck: Engine; 1974 Ford 302 it is a "D" series 302, which has been completely rebuilt by Hamm's Machine Shop in Newberry SC 1-803-276-9711 with new pistons, bearing, cam, crankshaft, timing chain, water pump, fuel pump, oil pump, lifters, push rods and later style heads that accept the smaller 5/8" spark plugs. A brand new Holly Carburetor feeds the engine, model is a CFM 500, part # 04412S high gloss finish manual choke from Advance Auto Parts. New Engine Mounts from Carquest part #31-2372., (photo of motor on stand shows a regular carburetor, that carburetor has been replaced with the new Holley. Transmission; C-4 Automatic bench rebuild with new bands and clutch kit, externally mounted transmission cooler Steering; new tie rod ends and I have installed a steering stabilizer on the front axle, steering and suspension have no issues. Brakes: completely rebuilt, all new wheel cylinders, springs, shoes and brake lines, both steel and rubber are all new! Ignition: Pertronix pointless upgrade Glass: Front and rear glass and seals are new, new vent windows and new sweeper seals, new door handles and restored window cranks, the windshield wipers work as they should. Exterior: door lock and ignition key are keyed the same, new door weatherstripping on both doors, new exterior mirror glass in both mirrors. THE FLOORS ARE SOLID, CAB CORNERS ARE SOLID AND HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN REPAIRED. Interior: YES..the 8-track player has been restored and works great, all the gages work, rebuilt heater works great, new hoses, new glove compartment box, the interior is trimmed out in yellow and black to match the exterior of the truck, the front seat has a seat cover on it, and the carpet is new. Tires; FOUR (4) brand new P235/75R15 Cooper Trendsetter SE Tires (receipted 12/17/2011) ($500) Tires were purchased from PepBoys and include ROAD HAZARD coverage. Battery: New Advance Auto Parts Gold Series Battery, rebuilt alternator, 12 volt system, and new voltage regulator Radiator/Gas Tank: Both radiator and gas tank has been removed and cleaner and flushed and the gas tank has been prepped with a tank sealer and conditioner, and finally a new gas gage sending unit/float Exterior Body/Paint: New lined bed, the entire cab/frame/bed has been undercoated, and the cabs have been fiberglass/restored. Both front and rear bumpers have been blasted, primed and finish with HOT ROD Black Matte Finish, they look great. Paint has some flash spots on it, chips, and a few dings, and there is a small but noticeable dent in the front grill. THE PAINT IS NOT PERFECT NOR IS IT SHOW QUALITY!! The door handles and front hood emblem and side hood emblems are all without any missing parts or cracks, however, they are pitted, but are acceptable for an everyday driver.
