1975 Honda CB

This is an exceptional 500T with "only 1,971 miles". Just out of long term storage. It is original, complete and super clean. You will be hard pressed to find a better example. It starts, idles, runs, handles and stops as a low mileage classic Honda should. Recent carb cleaning and sync. Fluids changed. New battery. Front break system flushed and cleaned. Engine and transmission are excellent. Mufflers are excellent. No dents, damage or excuses. The tires are original and have age cracks in the side walls. The starter switch did not work and has been repaired correctly. Previous owner attempted to fix starter switch by wiring some sort of connection through headlight with tiny access wire holes which may not be original and are not noticeable. One of the rear turn signal stem looks a little longer than the other but matches the other signal in appearance, it may just need adjusment. The right muffler had acid stains as noted in one of the photos so it was replaced with a correct and very nice used oem muffler that matches the left muffler perfectly. The inside of the tank looks like new. The frame has several spots under the seat where the paint could be touched up. The headlight shell has a very small spot where the black paint has been rubbed off. The seat is excellent. Paint is excellent. The chrome is very good and almost perfect with some very very slight pitting. No dents or damage. There is some rust or discoloration of the chrome on the inside of the exhaust headers near the heads. There are some very small stains on the inside of the left muffler that are not very visible. A set of correct reproduction Honda mirrors are also provide as the original mirrors may not polish up as they should. Headlight, tail light and horn work well. The turn signals light up but flasher does not work. Front break drags slightly on occasion. A good detailing, polishing will take the 500T to show condition. I am not certain that the hand grips are correct. Original owners manual and tool kit are included. All numbers check out as thay should. Good Ohio title in my name.
