This great car came out of California a few years ago and is in very good condition. She's riding on a nearly new set of Hankook radial whitewall tires. We also have receipts from December 2011 for more than $5,000 worth of parts & labor for a bunch of misc. repairs like: carb rebuilding, valve cover gaskets, full tune-up, new heater core, temperature sending unit, hoses, thermostat, etc, etc (please see photos). The car starts, runs, drives & stops well. With dual exhaust & glasspack mufflers, she sounds great too. She's been converted to a 12 volt electrical system and everything seems to be in working order except for the AM radio & clock. The radio actually comes on but just buzzes. The car has a 292 V-8 engine and 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive. Other features are dual exhaust, aftermarket air conditionong, sliding rear windows, full wheel covers, Magic Aire heat, bumper guards, side view mirror, clamshell tailgate with hinged license plate holder, fold-down rear seat & more. Included with the sale is a box of small parts like the Country Squire script and Ford badges. Several of them, such as the Overdrive script, need to be replaced. The interior of the car looks as though it has been recently replaced and is in very good condition. The body is in great shape, the doors all open and close well with no drooping. The windows and locks all seem to be working except the lock on the rear window. There is no visible rust or accident damage. The only real negative we see is that the wood grain on the sides of the car is starting to peel-up in a few places (see photos). This will need to be addressed in the future. If you are old enough to remember the 50's & 60's, you probably have memories of riding in the family station wagon. Here's a car that can help you relive those carefree days!
