kinyurd Store TRUE NO RESERVE SALE Car will sell to high bidder. No buy it now and I will not end auction early. 96,155 ACTUAL MILES OVER 100 PICTURES showing exterior, interior, engine, trunk, undercarriage, & chassis.… PICTURES http://s1118.photobucket.com/albums/k605/specialtycarz/ HISTORY One owner family. Car was purchased new in Washington State by a middle aged lady. When she quit driving it was sold to her brother in Oct 1992. Both lived in Snohomish, WA where vehicles generally have no problems with rust. This car is no exception. Solid floor pans, trunk pan, all original sheet metal etc. EQUIPMENT This great little car is equipped with the optional 250ci 6 cylinder, automatic transmission, and power steering. It is the Nova “Custom” model which included more chrome accents, deluxe interior, 2 speed wipers, washers, cigarette lighter, glove box light, carpet instead of rubber mat, etc. REPAIRS I have replaced the fuel tank sending unit, rebuilt the carburetor, and tuned the engine installing plugs, points, condenser, cap, rotor, and wires. I also changed the oil and filter and had the muffler and tail pipe replaced. Then I washed it, sprayed a little tire shine and have been driving it everywhere. MECHANICAL It starts, runs, and drives 100%. The choke and fast idle work as new, the engine starts with just a tap of the key. There are no noises or problems, in fact, you cannot feel or hear it run sitting at a stop light. The transmission is smooth and quick with solid shifts. The brakes are excellent with good hard pedal and no pulling. There are no fluid leaks of any kind. All lights and signaling devices work including the horn. Instrument and interior lights, wipers, heater, even the original key buzzer works like new. Windows all roll with ease. All glass is original and very nice with no clouding or cracks. Car is very solid and tight. There are no rattles, shakes, or shimmies even on a rough road. It runs perfectly in town as well as on the hi-way where there are no wind sounds or problems of any kind. When you close the door there is that familiar “thud” that says solid quality. INTERIOR The interior is completely original and very nice. The seats, headliner, dash pad, door panels, and all trim is excellent. The carpet has two small imperfections under the driver’s feet and the rear package tray shows ageing from the sun. EXTERIOR I would rate this car a “10 footer”. Closer inspection reveals scratches, and tiny blemishes. The paint is old and showing some Lacquer checks. The bumpers are showing age. The car has parking lot bumps and bruises. No serious damage just paint chips and dings. New paint would make it perfect. The radio worked but one day just quit. I checked the fuses and speaker connection and found nothing wrong. WHY SELL IT? I purchased this rare little car last month to do an LS-2 engine swap then happened on to a 69 Camaro roller I’d rather build and I’m out of room. That and the fact this car is way too nice and original for me to change is why it’s for sale. Of course you may do as you wish. It will make a great sleeper, a Yenko clone, COPO, or anything you like. You could just leave it as is. It needs absolutely nothing to drive everyday as it sets. I HAVE CLEAN CLEAR TITLE in my name in hand. Please ask any questions you have. You are welcome to personally inspect this car or hire a third party to do so PRIOR TO AUCTIONS END. If you would rather speak with me than email just ask for my number. TRANSPORT I will be happy to help with transportation arrangements as needed. TRADE?
