1976 Honda CB

This is a very decent 1976 CB 200T with "only 1,987 miles". Taken out of long term storage earlier this year. The photos were taken prior to any cleaning or polishing. It will clean up to be a good looking daily rider or it could be the start of an easy restoration. It does start and run but the battery will need to be replaced as it will not hold a charge. It will need a new battery to run. The brakes work well. The clutch seems fine and the transmission shifts through all gears. The fuel lines should be replaced and the carbs may need attention. It seems to run fine but may need some general maintenance service. The tank has scratches and touch up areas in the paint but no dents. Seat is good and the chrome looks good with some pitting. The rims have some rust spots that should polish out. The side covers may not be correct, do not seem to fit perfectly and have cracks. The mufflers are original and have a small dent and light scratches. The bottom of both mufflers have had the seams repaired. The right muffler has a very small repairable hole at the rear tip. The tires are new. Inside of tank is clean and has never been coated. The seat is excellent. The chrome is good with some minor pitting. The headlight bucket has been cracked so I am including a replacment bucket, headlight and chrome ring. The bucket will need the small high beam light hole drilled but matches well Original owners manual included. No tool kit. All numbers check out as they should. Good open Iowa title title.
