Relisted/Lowered Reserve 1972 Buick Riviera Boattail. Matching #'s. Sandalwood exterior (recent repaint) with half white vinyl top (new). Sandalwood cloth interior. One previous owner. 105,000 miles showing on non-working odometer (speedometer works). We have put on approximately 200 miles on the Rivi since the odometer stopped working. Original 455 4bbl that runs good. Rivi has new tires, hoses, belts, alternator and tune-up.The windshield is cracked on the driver and passenger side edges, all other glass is good. The headliner does need replaced and upholstery could use some work, but that does not stop us from driving the Rivi. We only drive the Rivi 5 or 6 times a year, in the local toy run, parades or a pretty weekend. It is not used as a daily driver. The RIVI is by no means perfect, but it is a good solid 38 year old piece of automotive history. The RIVI needs a right side manifold gasket (or the manifold planed) to quiet a exhaust leak (according to our mechanic). The Sandalwood paint looks great from 10 ft, but close up appears to have dust particles in the paint. A local body man tells us wet sanding? will fix the finish. I'd rate the paint job 7 on a scale of 10. The Rivi has the original title, original owners manual and window sticker. We bought the Rivi several years ago with the intent to fix the headliner and redo the upholstery, but that has never happened. Now it is time to seriously consider retirement and our interests have moved on to a motorhome. We do reserve the right to remove the RIVI from this listing due the the RIVI being for sale locally.
