She won't let it near the house. I have been a Stude hobbyist for longer than I have been married but I feel she's gonna win this round. I don't buy junk but she has her own mindset. This is the #2 car in Studebaker's offering for 1955. You either hate it or like it. I like it but she hates it. Anyhow, 'bout the car. It's a strong, straight, rust free, survivor. Unmolested x-cept someone had a brain fart and put a 77 Olds 350 with a turbo 350 in it. I hate when that happens. Good side is it's gotta Holley carb on it. Did I ever have it runnin? No. Will it run? Your guess is as good as mine but figure this. Would anybody in their right mind retro fit a non operating brand X motor in a car of this stature. I was contemplating a revert back to Stude Power but someone put the kabutts on that idea. For all I know this combo may be sufficient. You decide. The car is as straight as an arrow. Trim is nice and bumpers need chrome. Anything you notice missing on the car I have. You won't have to go scrounging for parts. Don't hurt me too bad and I'm likely to make available some upgraded xtra parts at a bargain price, namely, 58 Packard Hawk power steering unit, 1992 Cadillac El Dorado beautiful leather seat interior: seats, heated and both power, console, sun visors, seat belts and rear seats. I've got the panels also. Will fit like a glove as the 92 Eldo is near the same width and height. It'll work or re doo the originals. Everything is there. The insides while looking like crap are not rotten and worth being refurbished. Also as a bonus you can have what's left of my 62 Hawk parts car. Body is shot but it's a roller with an active Virginia title and serial tag and cowl tags. On Jan-06-12 at 07:34:19 PST, seller added the following information: As you can see maybe, this car needs no patching up and once covered in paint it will present as new. All the structural rigidity is as new. The doors close properly and there is no sag at all. You won't have to rework any of the body, inside or out. If you are contemplating a Stude project why not start with a rust free sought after model. You won't mind not working on a rust bucket. thanks for looking and please don't hurt me too bad. cheers jimmijimOn Jan-06-12 at 09:06:45 PST, seller added the following information: Sold with previous owners bill of sale to me and bill of sale notarized from me. On Jan-06-12 at 10:14:47 PST, seller added the following information: I will if necessary register this car for plates in my name at the DMV. If your state requires it so as they can issue you a title and/or plates. I will work with you. Alabama does not issue a title for any vehicle older than . jimmijimOn Jan-08-12 at 06:08:35 PST, seller added the following information: Many questions to answer, most being the integrity of the body and frame. You won't find a more complete rust free sought after xample for twice the price of my reserve. I'd rather see this in the hands of someone that will appreciate an easy resto project I don't need to make money on this but wont take a bite.Little bit of work and the car is worth{ according to past e-bay auctions upwards of 15 g done properly. I won't part it out. You won't have half that in it if you are hands on. If you have a fat wallet you may want to pay a pro. Although the car doesn't need a frame off every nut and bolt resto, it is worthy. This doesn't have to be a trailer queen but would be awesome as a resto-mod. On Jan-08-12 at 17:35:17 PST, seller added the following information: Almost athe price of a few fenderds. thanxOn Jan-10-12 at 13:25:10 PST, seller added the following information: No I won't share the reserve but guaranteed the next bidder will end up making room for one more toy and mebee a new place to sleep. Maybe neither but the car sells with the next bid. I ain't Lyon. trust me. jimmijim jimmijimOn Jan-11-12 at 07:50:31 PST, seller added the following information: If you are new to shipping vechicles, I'm not. If you are ok good.
