1957 Cadillac coupe deville 365 block. Engine: Orignal 365 V8. The engine did turn and drove up the drive way, but seems like its a carburetor issue, don't take my word for it though thats just a guestamite. (needs battery) Floor pans: will need floor pans welded in, lots of surface rust and a few rust throughs here and there. The interior will need to be re-upholstered. Theres abit of cancer in the trunk wheel wells, this car came from Michigan so unfortunatly its going to have rust..... Exterior: Currently the car is what looks like in black primer, The original color was pink. The body work has been started, but will need to be finshed by the new owner. The bad rust spots have been cut out to weld new metal in, theres other spots that need to be started, along with some trunk work. IF YOUR HANDY WITH WELDING AND KNOW SOMEBODY THAT WORKS WITH LEAD, THEN THIS WILL BE A GOOD PROJECT, IT HAS POTENTIAL, TO A PERSON THAT HAS THE TIME AND PATIENCE TO RESTORE THIS BEAUTIFUL GEM. (when finished of course). Electrical: head lights turn on, not sure about the rear lights, battery light or generator light work as well. Glass: There is a crack in the front windshield. The rest of the glass is good. All of the windows are in working order. Chrome: I have both front and rear Cadillac V ornaments. Rear tail light lens good, theres 2 pair of rear chrome bezels that will need rechroming whichever you may you use. I have a pair of the front hood shark fins that I had from my last 57(rare). I have the front light bezels. I have chrome pieces that go just below the light bezel front hood lip molding. the front bumper is good shape. The rear bumper ends will need to be replaced, and the rear middle bumper is good, will need rechroming. I think it has the original windshield washer fluid jar (glass) in car too. Just to reiterate: this caddy needs alot of body work, interior work, the car is sold as is where is. Car comes with a bill of sale and a Michigan pink slip. Cadillac is being sold locally, I have the right to close the auction at anytime. I feel that my price is fair, given the state of the car. If anything the front bumper is worth the price that im selling it for.. and I know the potential of the car and the work it needs.
