1986 M1008 (Chevy K30) CUCV MILITARY PICKUP TRUCK - 1 1/4 Ton Diesel with an amazing 10,716 Original Miles. The M1008 CUCV is as Heavy Duty as they come ... Front Dana 60 and Rear 14 bolt Axles with 4.56 Gears . The great thing about this truck is it has a Rear Locker and ALSO a Limited Slip Front Axle like the M1028’s have (keep in mind usually only the M1028's have locking front and rear axles), 6.2 Liter V8 Diesel Engine, TH400 Automatic Transmission, NP208 Transfer Case and it’s all rated at 1 1/4 Ton. This is one of the cleanest, lowest mileage, rust free examples that I have ever seen and it runs amazing !!The engine is so clean you can eat off of it … just look at the pictures. It was by far the cleanest M1008 truck I’ve owned before I even got started on it. This vehicle has been completely gone through mechanically and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to jump in it and drive it cross country. The tires have probably about 85 to 90 percent tread and the underneath of this truck is just as clean as the rest of it as you can see. It gets parked in my garage every night and is well cared for. If you're looking for one of the most rugged go anywhere 4x4's ever made then this is it.
