This 1982 El Camino is a 94,000 mile, rust free, Oklahoma car. The engine is a replacement 307 with presently 79,000 miles. The original owner let the engine overheat and sieze and replaced it with this engine. This car is an excellent driver, in good condition, with new tires and needs nothing mechanically to the best of my knowledge. The paint is not great, it looks good from 20 feet but to show it would need new paint. The hood has three visible hale damage dents that show on close inspection. The passenger side door panel is missing the pull strap. When the engine was replaced, they never replaced the compressor for the air conditioner - it is missing the compressor and hoses. This is a dependable car that you could let one of your children drive to college four years and if they took care of it, you could sell for a profit at graduation Fly into St. Louis, I will meet you at the airport with the car and you can enjoy driving it home or you can pick it up at my home in Farmington, MO. Being an old codger in my eighties with a lot of time on my hands, I might consider delivering it for expenses, especially if it were south. The point I am trying to make is this a well maintained vehicle and is not a piece of junk.
