This has been an ongoing project for about 4 years and now it's time for it to move on... Very awesome! We'll start with the cab...there are 3, 41-46 Chevy pick-up cabs, which make it a true crew cab, with rear suicide doors that work and fit good. Lots of time in the cab! Also, you'll see a cut down 64-66 Chevy truck dash in this project. The seats are 61-67 Econoline van seats. They fit really cool. Now the frame: It's a 1954 GMC 1/2 ton frame with all new shackle pins and greasezerts. The axle is a 1948 F-1 Ford pick-up sitting on top of the factory 54 Chevy springs. All new bolts and plates. All new shocks and custom mounts. Steers but no gear box. Has pitman arm. The front clip is a 1939 Plymouth coupe. It's bolted to the cab with support rods, but not hooked up to the front frame yet. The engine is a 1988, 305 out of an Iroc TPI, with an intake and carb. The motormounts are boat mounts, custom fit in the frame nice. Headers are 58-64 Impala, gasser style under car...fit good. The engine is good, 83,000 miles. The trans is a 400 turbo longtail out of a 93 GMC van. Good trans...low miles. The rear is a 9" Ford pick-up, 323 gears, sitting on the factory Chevy rear springs. Rear frame has been modified to make a long wheel base...see pictures. The bed is a 1948 F-1 that's been cut down on the rear at a 20% grade and 45% on top...see pics. The rear fender idea are 1946 Ford car going backwards. Would take big taillights and look cool. Wife says it looks better without them...your choice...comes with it. Awesome oval fuel tank off of a combine comes with it. Lots of misc. things come with it. Will have 1941 Chevy "payer". Too many projects and little money at this time...call with questions.
