Up for auction is a 1979 Honda CX500 with extra parts. This bike belongs to my son who does not have an EBay account. He was useing this bike untill he layed it down several years ago.He got another bike for parts and was going to restore it but his wife is not going for it! So it's been at my place since. It ran and drove well just before he dumped it. It will start and run with a jump and some gas sprayed in the carbs,but the handle bars,side cover and mirrors will need work.I sold the front end of the parts bike to a man who was going to make a trike,there is an engine and transmission and many other misc. parts left that go with it. So whoever buys it will need to bring a truck or trailer to pick it up, The tires will need to be replaced, as they are weather checked,they hold air but probably not safe to drive to run at road speed. The engine had a slight oil leak possibly from an o-ring between one head and the block. There are many new and used parts available on E-Bay as well as on the internet. So this would make a good restoration bike or use for parts too. payment by PayPal within 3 days of auctions end,or it will be relisted! Local pick-up only !
