Vehicle Detail

1999 Chevrolet Camaro SLP-SS This car has been babied and was always garage kept until I shipped it from Louisiana in September of 2011. Vehicle is also completely original (All VIN #'s match) and was NOT involved in Hurricane Katrina! During the hurricane, this vehicle was moved to Folsom, Louisiana where it was kept in a barn for the duration of the storm and aftermath. Vehicle was also used to Commute from Covington, LA to Baton Rouge, LA on a daily basis (Approximately 150 Commuter miles a day) for several years (This is why the mileage is high). This vehicle is in EXCELLENT condition and I can answer specific questions that you may have by contacting me directly (Contact information is at the bottom of the description). Synthetic Oil has only ever been used in this car. The vehicle was also thoroughly inspected at the Robert Levis Chevrolet Dealership in Slidell, LA in November of 2010, at which time the car underwent a full inspection/check, and all deficiencies were fixed (in respect to the powertrain, electrical system, etc...). Color: Pewter Metallic with Gray Leather Interior and T-Tops Drivetrain: Chevrolet LS1 5.7 Liter V-8 with SLP Engine & WS6 Transmission Package, SLP Suspension/SLP Loudmouth Exhaust Package. Mileage: 193,000 (all commuter miles). Car is set up for the track, but has never been on one! Performance: 400hp, 411 Gears in Rear End, Hot-Chiks Tower Brace, Thunder Racing MAF, SLP Loudmouth Exhaust with Chrome Tips, and SLP Sub-Frame Connector’s, and much more! Exterior: Vehicle is in perfect running condition and sounds awesome! There are a few extremely minor scratches on the vehicle, which can be buffed out easily. Vehicle has been garage kept until I had it shipped out here about 3 months ago from Louisiana. Vehicle also has window tint on all windows. There is a small ding on the upper-left side of the rear passengerside wheel well (Has been painted and no rust). Interior: Interior is in excellent condition, Dark Gray Leather Interior (Drivers side seat has a small (about 3 inches) repairable hole from a screwdriver I had in my back pocket one day), T-Tops, power driver’s seat, Alpine Stereo System (about 2 years old & works with IPod) with Kenwood Amp and 10” Bazooka Bass Tube in trunk, power windows, power door locks, and Custom SLP Camaro SS Floor mats. Maintenance: New A/C Compressor was replaced November 2010, all pulley’s were replaced May 2011, Bridgestone Fusion Tires replaced Nov 2010 (Only have about 3,000 miles on them), Spark Plugs, Plug Wires, Rotors, Calipers, and Brake Pads were also replaced, Engine is serviced regularly by professional servicers, Synthetic Oil is the only oil that has ever been used in the engine, Premium fuel has only been used as well. I still have some of the maintenance records for the vehicle also. It should also be noted of the cruise control currently being inoperable. Unsure of the reason the cruise control isn't working. I also have a ton of other stuff that I did to it that I can’t think of right now. Have a new baby in the family, and Camaro SS’s aren’t exactly a family vehicle. This vehicle is being sold As-Is and there is no warranty. The vehicle was wrecked once in 2008. The speed of the crash was approximately 5 MPH and the only damage was cosmetic to the hood and nose of the vehicle. There was absolutely no powertrain, transmission, or other damage to the vehicle during this incident. I basically ran into the rear hitch of a large 4 wheel drive truck and cracked the hood (which is fiberglass) and put a hole in the nose of the car. As a result, both the nose and hood were replaced with GM Original Equipment parts and I still have the reciepts to show the work completed. The car also has a front yellow marker light bulb which is burned out, and a fog light which is burned out. However, I have a new set of extra fog lights for the car, complete with the bulbs. The car also has a faulty coolant sensor, which causes a light to come on. Once the car gets up to running temperature, the light usually goes out. I have had this checked out before and the mechanics at the dealership said that it wasn't a mechanical problem, but was likely a code problem or faulty sensor. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding, as all sales are final. I do work during the day, but will check the messages and respond during the day. Thanks for checking out my car and if you win the auction, I hope you get as much enjoyment out of it as me and my family have. I know the mileage is high, but this car was an everyday driver while commuting from Baton Rouge, LA to Covington, LA (Approximately 150 miles a day). Good Luck! Call Mat - (985)290-2592
