For sale is my 1995 Ford Escort Station Wagon. I own a small Construction company and specifically bought this litle car to do estimates and errands. It averages 35mph or better which saves a lot of money over my big trucks. I recently purchased a smaller truck, so I no longer have a need to keep this car. THE CAR COMES WITH AN ALPINE CDA-9827 XM SATELLITE READY CD/ MP3/ WMA CD RECEIVER WITH DETACHABLE FACE AND REMOTE PLUS A KICKER ZR 120 AMPLIFLIER!!!!! All you will need is a new speaker box. I think that the speakers in the rear are altec lancing but I have a subwoofer box in there right now that will be removed before the sale of the car. This is a good running old car, transmission doesn't slip, shifts fine, it would make a good winter car or second vehicle for errands. The car has been missing the grill piece since before I purchased it. They are available for under 10.00. It has an exhaust leak at the manifold and a very small crack on the edge of the windshield on the passengers side. It is recently inspected, inspection is good until July 2012. I recently made a trip with it to Medina, OH, over 400 miles round trip. It made it just fine. The only other issues are that the check engine light is on periodically and the low coolant light is always on. I haven't been able to track why they come on, but they haven't affected the car. The passenger rear taillight lense in broken and has been tape repaired, dent on rear of passenger fender, various dents and dings, car idles fine, but sometimes will stall when idling. NO UNDERBODY RUST!!! As you can see in the pictures the only rust spot on the car is just behind the passenger door. It is only surface rust and will be sanded and painted before the car is sold. Prior owner put bondo body filler over a crack in the bumper cover on the passenger side. Tires are recently rotated and balanced. Front tires have about 3/4 of the tread left, rears have about 1/3 of the tread left. I will also include one extra wheel that I have for the car. Passenger front strut replaced 3 months ago. This would make a great first car or fuel efficient commuter vehicle. Don't forget, the ALPINE stereo system comes with it. I will also include the stock cassete player for the escort. Heater works great, AC needs a recharge. Interior is in really good condition, all seats are in very good shape with no damage. No surprises on this car, it's an old car that gets great gas mileage and will get you where you need to go. Feel free to email me to look at the car before you buy.
