The wide and short chassis, excellent suspension, powerful brakes and radial tires gave the 230 SL superb handling for its time. “Euro-spec” means the vehicle has specifications for the European market and was specially imported here from Germany. Some Euro details include single-unit “fishbowl” headlights for better visibility at night, slim bumpers without any bumperette guards and all-red taillight lenses. Mechanically, this 230SL vehicle is currently starting and running. Transmission shifts. Vehicle is able to move on its own. Cosmetically, the vehicle does show signs of age. It looks to have been sitting for a while. On the exterior, the paint shows wear. The tailpipe is dislodged and is dragging. On the interior, the leather is worn. Despite the expected wear and tear, the vehicle looks to be complete. The removable hardtop in a contrasting coffee color is included.
