Jane is for sale! That's her name. Why? Cause she is a plain Jane, no luxury items, no blue tooth, no electric ----? She has cold as ice A/C., so cold you could put a fish inside and it won't go bad!!! Power steering and power brakes. That's it. Why do you buy a car like this? For the dependability, longevity Toyota's are known for, the extraordinarily great gas mileage these car produce. This car hates a gas station. $24 fills it up and she goes and goes and goes...Easily 200000 miles left in her bloodstream. Engine runs smooth as a sewing machine, no weird noises, nothing abnormal. Tranny shifts fine thru all it's gears from a total standstill up to 80 mph highway speeds. Drives straight, no shimmies, no vibrations, brakes work as expected, no funny nor mushy feeling on the pedal. No oil consumption and no oil leaks. You could park it on a white rug and not find a drop of oil on it. Only 114000 miles, well kept, always semi synthetic oil since I've had her. Oil changes done religiously every 3k miles, has also a Pioneer radio/CD with remote control, extremely clean interior with no rips or tears and honestly no signs of wear. Slight wear only on the drivers side carpet where the drivers heel contacts the carpet. That's it. Trunk is clean along with the spare tire well is extremely clean, so clean you could eat out of it. Lights, turn signals, horn, wipers and washers work as they should. The 2 windows roll up and down with no effort or hindrance. All glass is perfect. Paint is original with minor dings or rock chips on hood. No clear coat loss. I have installed 4 (four) new Yokohama tires on her a few weeks ago and must have less than 400 miles on them. Each tire was $125 each plus installation. Why such great tires? Because these tires hold up very well, are rated "A" for tread wear, however; most importantly the better the tires the less road noise and vibration is felt inside the car. Small cars generally are poorly insulated and I found out many moons back that the better the tires the better the ride feels inside. And Jane rides like a Grand Marquis down the road.
