1966 ford falcon futura sports coupe, i have owned this car for more than 27yrs, it has never seen rain in that time, i bought this from a woman that her son was disabled in the viet nam conflict. he bought it new in 1967 and was shot in 1970 it sat in a barn until 1984 when i bought it, it was a florida car so there was NEVER any rust in it whatsoever. i went through every inch of this car and it is a great cruiser. the motor (289) has been rebuilt, the block was hot tanked, it was given a new crank,pistons, line bored, and the block didnt even need bored so it has alot of meat on it. it has a performance cam and a pete jackson gear drive, the formentioned was tested at 8000rpm, nothing but the best was put in the block and parts. the heads had some trick head work including larger valves, shaved (upping the compression ratio) it has roller rockers and a cast iron 4bbl intake (rare), both the oil pump (9qt oil pan also) and the fuel pump are high volume units, the oil pressure runs at 60+lbs almost 100 cold. there was more than 7000 dollars put in the motor alone, it has aprox 375-400 hp it has a shift kit in the transmission, hooker headers with flowmaster exaust (all the way back to rear bumper). traction bars, i know im not remembering all the items that were put in this car but i can tell you it is strong and fast. when they made these cars they called them the "sister mustang" because it has exactly the same running gear as the same year mustang (motor,transmission, rear end) the interior is almost complete, i had put in new carpet,headliner (mice from barn) the door panels and rear seat were in fabulous shape so the only thing it really is still lacking is a dash pad and the two front buckets recovered. it has an updated stereo with front and rear speakers (polk audio) there is a kicker box in the trunk (2) 10 inch kenwood and there is two amplifiers (1) 1000w (1) 750w with a crossover (all stereo equipment is hung on the back of the rear seat inside the trunk) along with a 6 disc CD changer, in the last few years i have put hardly any miles whatsoever about 50 maybe per year, the car has 47000 total miles on it, it has red under car light under it, but they didnt turn on last time i flicked the switch, the under carrage is sweet, clean and has been spray protected this car may need tinkering but that would be from sitting and every year i get it out i do the same thing, put fresh gas in it, change the oil (it has moble one put in it every year) check the bearings, gear oil lever,tires and anti freeze before i drive it down the road, just as precaution, because its better to be safe then sorry, if you were to buy this car i know you would be happy as a pig in mudd, i dont know what else to tell you except dont be missing out on a great car cause you procrasstinated.if you want any specific photos email me and i will get them for you,
