We bought this car in 2001 and it's been a great vehicle never had any problems with it, we have truly loved it, people always stop us and tell us how beautiful our car is, but with 2 kids it's not practical. I just spent about $2000 on the convertible top motor and fuel pump and it has 4 new tires and a brand new battery. The A/C is INOP but with the convertible I didn't need it, my mechanic says after 10 years the mercedes can use a gasket replacement for the engine and quoted me about $900 but I don't mind a little oil drip. There is a seem in the driver side bucket seat that needs stitching and it's probably $100 - $200 to fix and other than that she is in good shape and runs like a champ. Good luck and happy bidding :)
