I'm selling my dark blue '96 Z3 Convertible. It has ONLY 56k miles (that is not a typo! 56,000). I am the second owner; bought it about 3 1/2 years ago from a car fanatic. When I purchased the car, it had roughly 9,300 miles on it and was stored in a heated garage and only driven in the summer. I used the car for 2 1/2 years as a daily driver in the Summer, Spring and Fall. It was driven and stored in Memphis, TN, during the winters. This car has never seen snow before this past weekend! Cosmetically, the car is in excellent condition; there are only 2 or 3 tiny (less than 1/4" wide) blemishes in the paint and one small abrasion on the leather of the driver side bolster. The car was in one minor accident about two years ago - I rear ended someone going <10 MPH (no airbag deployment or frame damage - all cosmetic, and the car was driven home about 100 miles). This resulted in the replacement of the hood, front bumper cover (only the cover; the bumper itself sustained no damage), and one headlight. Replacing these parts essentially repaired the normal wear and tear of being a daily driver - this car looks brand new now. The convertible top is in excellent shape as well - no tears or cracks. Mechanically, the car is in excellent condition. I have had all the maintenance done on time or early and I just sank $600 into the car to replace a wheel bearing. Email me with any questions. Because I no longer have the option to store the car in Memphis for the winter, and I've already bought a new car. No catch, no gimmick... its because I got impatient and bought a new car already.
