Up for sale a 1999 Subaru Forester manual. The car runs well, body is in a decent shape. 4 almost brand new tires from sears (free rotation and road hazard), hitch, all maintenance up to date. The car had the engine done ~20K miles ago - unfortunately we could not find the receipts for that. In addition to that, the clutch was done ~5K miles ago and 3 wheel bearings since my father bought this car. Everything works fine on this car with the exception of 2nd gear - it grinds when put in quickly. If you give it some time, it will go in smooth. The mechanic told us that the flying wheel may have been cut too manu times. The interior - driver's seat is riped on the side rest and it has a cigarette hole. Overall the interior needs some cleaning but there is nothing broken/missing. It has a good NJ inspection until 11/2012. This Forester is being sold with no reserve - I got it as a gift, so whatever I can get for it, is fine with me... It is not registered so the local pick up is preferable. If you wish to meet up somewhere - I can do that but it would require a temporary registration - so please let me know in advance if you wish to do that as I can not promise a meet up day over day.
