1980 Pontiac Firebird with rare Yellowbird Package. Purchased from a older couple in their 70s who owned the car since 1992. They parked the Yellowbird in the garage for the last 7 years but started up and moved in and out to clean the garage. 301 V8 4bbl, automatic. Super solid body, looks to be original paint. The previous owner touched up some spots what looks like a paint brush. Has a few dings, possibly from hail. Still has all the original pin striping and Yellowbird decals, faded but there. All original, runs and drives great. Starts right up, runs smooth and drives nice, quite. Has 120k miles. Options include A/C and tilt, rear spoiler. Of course it does need some some TLC, A/C needs updated, headliner needs upholstery, interior is complete with no rips or tears. Worn but not bad. Dash is nice no cracks, no rust in corners of dash. All gauges, lights, wipers work as should. Engine compartment looks to be all original and complete. Just had oil changed, new filter, new air filter and a new fuel pump. Tires, brakes and exhaust are good. Spare tire and jack still in trunk, also have owners manual. Title in hand. Drive as is or restore. Check out the photos and ask questions. The YellowBird Edition Firebird Esprit was released in 1980 and was the last of three color schemes for the Esprit. It replaced the RedBird Edition Firebird from 1978 and 1979. Unfortunately, there was any production numbers of how many of these cars were produced. Pontiac had a hard time keeping track of cars in the late 70's let alone what color the cars were or even some of these Specialty cars.
