1971 Triumph Trophy

This is a very decent 1971 Triumph with only 4,781 miles that is just out of long term storage. It is the more rare TR6C model that came from the factory with a skid plate, folding foot pegs, smaller headlight, no tachometer and scrambler upswept exhausts. (see Roy Bacon's illustrated Triumph motorcycle buyers guide page 50) The original upswept exhausts have been replaced but are still available but not included. A set of the more traditional Triumph headers and mufflers are included less attachment hardware. They are used but in good condition with a few small dents. It has not been started for about a year and will need the service required for a motorcycle that has been in storage. It will need at least a battery, possibly the carbs cleaned and adjusted, tuning, new filters and a lubrication and an oil change are recommended. The tires may be original with no age cracks in the side walls. Inside of tank looks super clean. The original seat is excellent. Paint appears original and is in good condition. No dents or damage. Handlebars have marks in chrome. Small amount of chrome pitting. Rims are very nice. Turn signals and mirrors are missing. No tool kit. A photo copy of the factory parts and shop manuals are included. All numbers match as thay should. Good Ohio title in my name.
