This is our 1964 OLDS CUTLASS F85 CONVERTIBLE, this should be considered well above just a worthwhile restoration project car as it runs and drives and can be a daily driver if needed. This is a very straight and solid desert car with no rust or rot and has already been partially restored. All the major cosmetic restoration has been done and at this point it really just needs the interior and the top recovered to be a really nice daily driver car. This auction has NO RESERVE, high bid takes it home. Please take the time to view the detailed pictures, I am very thorough when shooting and describing a vehicle and make every effort to catch as much detail as possible! Cosmetically, the body of this Cutlass is excellent, it is complete and very straight. There are no dent or rust repairs needed. The floors and undercarriage are very solid and very clean. All side glass is clean, clear and in good shape. Windsield will need replaced. Trunk area and quarters look good. The original factory Red paint was redone to "driver" quality Inferno Red. The paint is not "show" quality, but still looks good. Upon close inspection I see small dust specks in the paint, only on the trunk and hood. There are no chips, scratches or fading and the paint shines. This Olds rides on aluminum A/R wheels, tire tread is about 40% all around. Trunk lock will need another key made and left rear tail light need replaced. Power top goes up and down properly and will need recovered and window seals replaced. I have located a brand new top and back window here on eBay for 270.00, item number is 290509754169. This car is perfect for someone that wants to drive it while they finish the interior and top! The interior is complete except for the shift knob. It is all original but will need redone, overall it is above average as the car has been stored inside since 2000. All seat springs are in good shape and back seat looks really good but dry.Floors have already been undercoated. This Cutlass is equipped with front buckets and the very rare optional floor shift console with tachometer. Mechanically, this Cutlass has the original drivetrain, it starts right up and runs well. I would expect to at least have the carb cleaned and a full service as it has been stored for a bit. The auto transmission shifts smooth and on cue and the car is equipped with power steering. There has also been a new MR.G electric fuel pump installed. I have in hand the clean and clear California title/ownership certificate on this Oldsmobile. I will have the car stored inside until buyer arrives or we deliver it. The car is located in Moreno Valley, California 92551 (Southern California) near March Air Base.
