I WILL BE POSTING MORE PICTURES AND A VIDEO ON TUESDAY Hello, here are you bidding on a 2008 Cadillac Cts, 3.6DI, All Wheel Drive, Moonroof, Navigation, Keyless Start, Remote Start, HID Headlights, 18" Silver Painted Wheels, This car has it all. Don't be fooled by other people telling you that their cts is "fully loaded" when they aren't. Trust me, this car has every option possible. On top of all of that, this cts was rebuilt with the cadillac cts-v front clip. This car really turns heads. As you might already know, this car is being sold with a salvage title due to damage that happened on only the right front corner. I don't know any details about the accident because we bought this car at auction and we don't know anything about the owner. I can tell you that the car came from Indiana, other then that, thats all i know about the history before i got it. After i got this car, i can tell you that the damage was only to the left front corner of this car. The following parts were replaced (hood, bumper cover, left fender, all cooling, rad support, and headlight). The only air bag that went off was the drivers wheel. It was replaced with a new air bag and a new SDM was installed and reprogramed by a GM dealership. Everything on this car was repaired using NEW GM parts (NOTHING AFTERMARKET OR USED). Our local body shop did the repairs and gave it an alignment. The paint on this car was done at out local body shop and it looks flawless, no orange peel, no runs, and it matches perfect. This car needs nothing, It just needs a good home. If you want to come and see this car in person you are more then welcome. PAYMENT, We will need a $500 deposit via pay pal or cash in person due with in 48hrs of the end of the auction to secure this vehicle. The remaining balance must be paid with in 7 days of the end of the auction. The balance can be paid with cash in person, cashiers check, or wire transfer ONLY. FYI, WE HAVE A 2011 CADILLAC CTS-V 556hp WITH 2,000MILES AND ITS BLACK IN COLOR. THIS CAR SHOULD BE DONE IN ABOUT 3 WEEKS. I WON'T HAVE AN EXACT PRICE UNTIL ITS FINISHED. GUESSING AROUND 42-45K. WE ALSO HAVE A 2009 CTS-V Clone that is silver in color 30,000miles and a black 08 cts-v clone with 40,000miles that might be for sale. Here are all the bad things that i could find about this vehicle, Overall i would give this car a 8.5 out of 10. OUTSIDE ISSUES -Above the drivers door, there is a couple dimple dents. nothing major and not worth fixing, but they are there. you will see them in the video -On the drivers door handle, there is a paint chip. INSIDE ISSUES -none that could be found other then average wear for a car with 50,000miles. Besides the items listed above, the vehicle shows only average wear and tear for a car that has 50,000miles on it. nothing is major, just get in and drive. fyi, we do have 1 key fobs for this car. Questions, If you have any questions, We prefer that you either e-mail us or come ask us in person. We won't call you, so please don't ask us. Your more then welcome to come and discuss any questions in person. All of our cars are located in Faribault, Minnesota 55021. Current Title, The current title is a salvage title. Please check with your state before bidding. Once you get this car inspected, it should come back as a prior salvage title/rebuilt title in your home state. I can get it inspected here in Minnesota, but that wouldn't do you any good if you live out of state. If I do get it inspected here, and send the title into Minnesota, then its going to take about 3 months for the state of Minnesota to send me the prior salvage title back. I know for a fact that this car will pass a Minnesota state inspection with flying colors or your money back. Other state's might require something different, so please check before you bid. All sales are final. We will provide you with a bill of sale, title, repair receipts, and photos of the car before it was repaired. You shouldn't need anything more then what I listed above, but if there is, let us know and we will do our best to get you anything you need to get this vehicle inspected in your home state. Att: Minnesota buyers, You will be charged sales tax at a rate of 6.5%, plus plates, tabs, and title transfer fees. You will also need to get this vehicle inspected with in the next year and we will provide you will all the receipts and Minnesota Affidavit of Reconstruction paperwork that you will need to get it inspected. You will be provided with a 21 day permit to drive this vehicle right away, and then we will get the plates for you and they will be mailed to you or you can pick this up if you are local. You have one year to get this vehicle inspected before Minnesota will issue you new license tabs. The inspection process is easy and only takes about 20mins. We will provide you with the dates and times of your nearest inspection center. After it has been inspected, you will get a new title back from the State of Minnesota that will give it a Prior Salvage Title Status. According to the State, that means that it is a clear title. According to everyone else, its still a salvage title. Att: Non-Minnesota buyers, You will NOT be charged any added fees. You will owe the exact amount of your final bid and thats all. You will be given the receipts for the repairs in the event you need them. You will also need to check with your local DMV to check the process of transferring a salvage title in your home state before you bid. You will be given a 21day permit to drive this vehicle home, but after that, you are on your own. You should be able to take the title to your dmv and get it transferred and get plates right away, but some states might have a different process that you need to go though, so please check that out before you bid. After the inspection is done in your home state, you should be issued a prior salvage/rebuilt title. Shipping, Shipping is at Buyers expense. If you can't come pick this up in person and you want us to ship it for you, we can set that up. Clearly the farther away you are, the more it's going to cost. Average shipping costs are about $150 in Minnesota, $300 in upper midwest, $500 to outer midwest (Texas,Ohio,Montana,Colorado), and coastal areas are about $700-$900. Depending on where you are, it could take anywhere from 2 to 8 business days before you receive this vehicle if its shipped. Deposit, After this auction ends, we will need a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit with in 48hrs of the end of this auction. If you come here and decide that you don't want to buy the vehicle for whatever reason, we will refund $250 of that deposit and keep $250. However if you never show up, then we will keep all the $500. Deposit can be Cash in person only, Pay Pal, Certified Bank Check, or a Bank Wire Transfer. Total Balance Due, Any remaining balance must be paid with in 5 business days of the end of the auction. The balance can ONLY be paid with cash, wire transfer, or Certified Bank Check. If you do pay with a Certified Bank Check (cashiers check), we will hold the title and receipts for 14 days until that check clears and then mail the title and receipts to you. NO PERSONAL CHECKS! Warranty, Most auto manufacturers don't stand by the factory warranty with a car has a salvage title, however some still do. So its up to you to contact your local dealership to see if the factory warranty is still active. ALL auto manufacturers still do stand by recalls. So if this car is in need of a recall, take it back to the dealership and they will fix the recalled item. On the other hand, if you have any accident or accident repair issues with this car with in the first 30days let us know and we will usually take care of the problem at no charge as long as you bring the car back to us. Salvage Title Info, Info below was pulled from Wikipedia about salvage titles. In the United States, a salvage title is a form of vehicle title branding, which notes that the vehicle has been severely damaged and/or deemed a total loss by an insurance company that paid a claim on it. The criteria for determining when a salvage title is issued differ considerably by state. In a minority of states, regulations require a salvage title for stolen vehicles but, in others, it is issued only for losses due to damage. Under some circumstances, a salvage title denotation may be removed or replaced with a Rebuilt Salvage designation and cars imported to, or exported from, the United States may be issued a clean title regardless of history. Because a salvage title can be issued to a vehicle with easy repairable problems or no damage whatsoever, the low cost of the salvaged motorcycle or car is appealing to some hobbyists and investors. Determination of Salvage Status, In general, a vehicle is deemed "salvage" when the insurer determines that the repair or replacement cost is in excess of approximately 75% of its market value at the time of the accident or theft. Thresholds range between 50% and 95% of the vehicle's value, while "total loss states" leave the specifics to the insurer. Upon paying the claim, the insurer may offer to return the vehicle to the owner as an insurance buy-back, in which case the owner is responsible for having the repairs made and having the car inspected by a State-designated facility. Depending on the state, this inspection may remove the salvage brand from the vehicle's title. The exact percentage of value that triggers the decision to total the vehicle is guided by applicable laws and regulations. The damage estimate is calculated at retail repair rates, which may be more than the cost of wholesale repair. Vehicles that are not bought back are auctioned as salvage to an auto recycler or a rebuilder and given a salvage title. Are All Salvage Titles Bad? No, They aren't. Thats just like saying all Clean Title cars are good. There are alot of salvage titles cars out there that have little to no damage due to theft recovery, or since insurance companies won't use aftermarket parts and need to use brand new factory parts. If those factory parts are on back order, they aren't going to wait weeks or months until they can get those parts again. So something as simple as damage to a 01-06 GMC Yukon Denali front impact bumper that costs $300 new, that totaled out about 100 trucks last year because of the GM bankruptcy that shut down the manufacturing of those bumpers. Thus no one could get that part so insurance companies just totaled them all out rather then to wait the 6 months to get a new bumper. Are All Clean Titles Cars Accident Free? No, Most of you have probly been in an accident at one point or another. If your accident was a deer hit, most of the time that is repairable. Your local body shop made the repairs and you were good to go. However no one will ever know and it wasn't marked on your title. It still may have been a great car after that, but just like salvage title cars, they can be great and hassle free for years after the repairs have been made. In another example, if you had a newer car, and you didn't have full coverage insurance and you drove your car into a local lake, ditch, hit a tree, another car, ect. You would have some damage that you might not have taken to a body shop and had the repairs done correctly. Thus passing on future possible issues to a new owner. The truth is, that you don't know what or where a car has been unless you bought it brand new. And as you know, buying brand new will cost you a lot more then buying used. So even if the worst case happens and you buy a salvage title car that you know has been in an accident, you know what you are buying and you are paying less for that. So even if something happens to the motor, transmission, battery, tires, ect. You saved thousands by buying a salvage title over buying a used car with a clear title and that savings will likely cover the cost of the repairs. The truth is any car either brand new, used, or salvage title can break down at any given time. We take pride in our cars and do our best to make our customers happy with their purchase. Our feedback is important to us and we will do our best to make sure you come back to buy from us again in the future. On Dec-13-11 at 12:42:15 PST, seller added the following information: Fyi, There is some very light and minor dents that look like little dimples. i pointed them out in the video, so please watch the video to see them and a couple paint chips that are on the rear of the car. There is also some curb rash on the rims and peeling on one wheel. i do have a couple extra rims that we might be able to work into the deal depending on the final sale price. Again, please watch the video to check it out. none of the damage is major and it isn't worth fixing, but it is worth pointing out to you. any further questions, please feel free to e-mail me. thanksOn Dec-14-11 at 07:54:24 PST, seller added the following information: Someone just pointed out to me that the ad started off talking about damage to the right front and later spoke about damage to the left front. JUST TO BE CLEAR, DAMAGE WAS ONLY TO THE LEFT FRONT. i had an orange cts that had damage to the right front and i copied the ad from that car. I thought i made all the changes, but i guess i missed one. Just to be clear, there was damage only to the front bumper cover, left front fender, hood, and headlight. There was NO damage to the frame, strut tower, engine, wheel assembly, doors, or anything to the rear of the car or the right side. The front bumper cover was bought used in color and didn't need to be painted. so the only painted parts that we had painted are the hood and left front fender. The largest body shop in town painted the hood and fender and i have the receipts to prove it.On Dec-14-11 at 08:26:52 PST, seller added the following information: PLEASE READ THE TWO UPDATES ABOVE THIS FOR CORRECTIONS IN THE AD.
