I have personally put about 100+ miles on her and now I really understand why people say these older land cruisers just don’t die. I purchased her about 2 weeks ago and 2 days later we got hit with a very nasty unexpected snow storm in a way I wasn’t that upset because I got to use the land cruiser in the snow. The 4wd worked great and I was very pleased with the way she handled that rough weather. Thanks The exterior is I’m going to say a bit rough as many of these land cruisers are, paint seems to be mostly original but with some light paint work and touch ups done in the past, it has rust but I have seen a lot worst that have been repaired, I honestly think this truck is for someone that just wants to drive it as it is and fix her up in time to time, overall it is still a land cruiser that actually runs and drives. And it does not look bad at all. The interior is in very nice shape for its age, a small tear on the drives seat and a crack on the dash but overall it’s very nice and well kept. Take a look at the pictures. 4.0L INLINE 6 EFI \- first year of the efi, this truck has 166k miles pretty low for one of these fj’s fires up instantly , could use some maintenance but I have been driving it as is and I wouldn’t mind driving her anywhere. The automatic transmission shifts gears but from 2nd to 3rd there is a small slip but it grabs the gear, I was told maybe oil / filter change may help but I am no mechanic. I drive her the way it is and have had no problems. 4wd works well. Front Tires are not the best and are a bit bumpy, could use a replacement. Power windows, rear passenger side will need a new switch. A.c and very good heat. Aftermarket alarm and remote start that works. Pioneer cd head unit. Undercarriage has some rust but not bad I have seen some really bad ones and this one is not that bad.The fuel gauge is not working.
