Vehicle Detail
Up for Sale is my 1970 Ford Mustang Grande 351 Windsor. Sadly I’m selling because I have too many projects and too little time to complete them; my loss your gain. After removing to replace the dry rotted oil line, I decided to sell rather than fix, but this is definitely an easy fix. Prior to removal the car ran fine. This car is being auctioned at a low price, with NO RESERVE, and is being sold “AS IS” with NO Warranty, so please read through the description bullets and contact me with questions prior to bidding and/or before the close of the auction. I will be checking all messages, but please fill free to contact me directly at 240-723-9342. *1970 Mustang Grande 351 Coupe. *It has a 351 Windsor that was rebuilt with a Crane Cam installed by the original owner. *8 Cylinder- Automatic *Garage Kept *Good brakes *The original interior upholstery and wood grain is a solid 8 on a scale of 10; would be a 9 if it wasn’t missing the upholstery covers on the back of the bucket seats. *The car is missing the "M" (Mustang) emblem on the trunk *Clean bumpers and well maintained leather top *Car requires a new battery and oil line to become drivable *Clear MD-Title *Car has 143k miles but was rebuilt with less mileage *Car has rust on the floor pan and in the lower front wheel well *Spare tire and black sport wing in the trunk You are bidding on a beautiful American Classic car and rare find. The total production of Mustang Coupe’s and Grande’s for 1970 was 190,727 units. So Happy Holidays, and Happy Bidding!!!!On Dec-10-11 at 14:14:04 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE 12/10/2011 CAR STARTS & RUNS! The problem was an empty power steering resevoir due to the broken power steering hose. Please note that the line in the pics is NOT the oil line as originally listed but the power steering hose. The line was temporarly fixed and will require a replacement. Possible exhaust leak. On Dec-11-11 at 04:52:22 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE 2 12/11/2011 I have been told that the engine is in fact a 351 Cleveland vs Windsor. Unfortunately I am not a FORD expert, but the original body style and emblems say 351 Windsor.
