Vehicle Detail
3.5L engine with approx. 150K miles on the bottom end and less than 10K on a completely rebuilt head, minor porting done at that time. The motor does not leak or use any oil. 5 speed conversion with a Getrag 265 tranny so it has the sensor plugs for Motronic if ever desired, also has a short shift kit. Triple Weber sidedraft carbs with a custom high lift three piece intake. Hartge replica headers with a newer stock original exhaust. 3.64 LSD duff. Recaro seats with speakers in the headrest. Bilstein shocks and struts with Suspension Tech springs and sway bars (adjustable rear). All new bushings front and rear, poly bushings in the rear. Car handles exceptionally well. 3.0 CSL airdam with brake duct holes. Original type front fender lip extensions. Euro front turn signal lenses, Hella Lighting head lights. Braided stainless brake lines. E12 front brake upgrade. Sony CD deck with 450 watt amp. Have two sets of tires and wheels - 16 inch BBS M5 wheels with 225/50 16 Dunlop Sport 8000 tires or 15" BBS basketweaves with Nokian 205/65 R15 - you choose. New battery. Current inspection sticker and MA registration. Recent Mercedes Benz oyster green metallic paint. There is one scrape on the paint in the right front fender, just down to the primer. I will include a small can of the current paint that may still be good but at least has the paint specs on the can for a perfect match. There are tiny rust “bubbles” on the right fromt fender mounting surface, below where the hood closes. You do not see it with the hood down or unless your looking for it with the hood up. There is also one (about the size of a dime) on the very bottom of the right fender and one on the rear lip of the trunk lid. This car is rarely driven (249 miles last year) and is never driven once the salt trucks come out. The car has factory A/C and has been converted to the rotary style compressor but needs a new compressor. The manual sunroof works but with a bit or assistance. It has a new gear but needs new cables to be 100%. There is one small hole in the headliner next to the sunroof crank, otherwise it is very nice. This car handles like a sports car and is great fun to drive. I've had many BMWs including the Euro M635CSi, but this car gets the most compliments and questions. A very eye-catching vehicle.
