Up for sale is a 2006 Honda Civic SI. The ONLY reason I'm selling this car is because I need an SUV, NO OTHER REASON. Family has grown and all of us do not fit in it. I've had this car since it had 16,000 miles and all scheduled maintenance and oil changes has been done by Honda. New tires 10,000 miles ago and new brake pads and front rotors 5,000 miles ago. This Civic needs nothing, it runs perfect and has not given me any problems. The car is completely stock. The only thing that I changed was the rims that came off a 2010 Civic SI. Redline is marked at 8,000 rpm, and the Si's i-VTEC system switches to its high-lift camshaft profiles at 6,000, at which point the engine really comes alive. The rev limiter comes in at 8,500 rpm. We shifted at 8,200. Braking rating Good Braking comments The pedal is not very progressive, and ABS noise and vibration are excessive. Still, the brakes feel solid under maximum load and front-end dive is minimal. Handling rating Excellent Handling is very precise to the point of notable understeer, and then lifting off the throttle helps the car turn in. Through it all, the engine sounds very cool.
