This auction is for a 1969 Volkswagen Baja car with a 3” lift kit and a 1965 VW sunroof body. It needs interior and paint This has been an ongoing project of mine for over 10 years, but I no longer have the time or the energy to finish the car. It has a clean California title, and a Non-Op registration. THE DETAILS -The chassis is a 1969 -The body is a dent free 1965 sunroof model -There is a 3” lift kit installed -Car is fitted with a custom bent 1½” stainless roll bar -The engine is a strong running 20R from a Toyota pickup -The carb is a 2 barrel Holley Weber -Alternator is a one wire GM -The fuel pump is electric -The headers are custom made -The transaxle is a beefed up 1969 IRS unit -The rear trailing arms have been strengthened -Rear disc brakes-custom -Front disc brakes -Dual master cylinder -Tilt / locking steering column is custom made from a GM unit -Steering wheel is a VW racing wheel -Front axle is reinforced 69 VW with added torsions and limit stops -Shocks are gas filled type (4) -Radiator is from a VW Rabbit and is ahead of engine and scoops air from under car -Cooling tubes are stainless -Electric cooling fan is also VW Rabbit -Rear engine cage is custom bent 1½” Stainless tubing -Stock VW fuel tank is in the trunk -Wheels are Centerline aluminum -Custom aluminum skid plate is included, but not installed -Actual mileage is unknown The car is currently in running condition, and only needs a 12 volt battery and a new owner. I have title in hand. I will accept PayPal only for the deposit. Balance must be paid in cash or with a Cashiers check. If paid with a Cashier’s check, that check must clear the bank before the car will be released. I will consider interesting trades for all or partial payment. Please no animals or motorcycles.
