This car was just completed in our shop as a ground up restoration. From the outside it appears to be a stock 1949 Jeepster with show quality chrome and a gorgeous viper red paint job, until you happen to notice the 1939 Ford tail lights. The next big surprise will be the custom leather interior, custom red carpet, 1969 Z28 center console, B and M street rod shifter, 4 seat belts, outstanding 4 speaker stereo system with IPod and cd, full instrumentation interior lights and special attention to detail. The next surprise will be under the hood where you will find a fresh 1986 350 ci. Chevy engine with a TH350 3 speed automatic transmission, aluminum high rise intake, Edelbrock 650 cfm 4 barrel carburetor , a Billet high rpm distributor, chrome wrapped dual exhaust headers with 2.5 side cutout exhaust. The front end is mustang II with rack and pinion steering with anti sway bar and disc brakes. The rear end is late model Ford with drum brakes. The car is easy to drive and has plenty of power, good brakes, plenty of speed and is a dependable cross country driver. The car has been driven 1600 miles since build and the new top and paint were just completed. And it comes complete with the side curtains. The frame and underside of the body have all been undercoated and the chassis build was done by a quality street rod shop.
