Vehicle Detail

Hello, here are you bidding on a 2008 Cadillac Cts, 3.6DI, All Wheel Drive, Moonroof, Navigation, Keyless Start, Remote Start, HID Headlights, 18" Polished Wheels, This car has it all. Don't be fooled by other people telling you that their cts is "fully loaded" when they aren't. Trust me, this car has every option possible. It even has the very rare and very hard to find HOT LAVA ORANGE PAINT. On top of all of that, this cts was rebuilt with the cadillac cts-v front clip. There is not another car like this in this color anywhere. Not even the real CTS-V because they color only came out for 2008 and the new cts-v came out in 2009. This car really turns heads. As you might already know, this car is being sold with a salvage title due to damage that happened on only the right front corner. I don't know any details about the accident because we bought this car at auction and we don't know anything about the owner. I can tell you that the car came from Chicago, other then that, thats all i know about the history before i got it. After i got this car, i can tell you that the damage was only to the right from corner of this car. The following parts were replaced (hood, bumper cover, right fender, all cooling, rad support, and headlight). It did blow the curtian air bags and the drivers air bag as well as the seat belts and a new SDM. Everything on this car was repaired using NEW GM parts (NOTHING AFTERMARKET OR USED). Our local dealership reset all the airbags, gave it an alignment (yes we have proof that the alignment was done and done so the car is in spec). The paint on this car was done at out local body shop and it looks flawless, no orange peel, no runs, and it matches perfect. This car needs nothing, It just needs a good home. If you want to come and see this car in person you are more then welcome. PAYMENT, We will need a $500 deposit via pay pal or cash in person due with in 48hrs of the end of the auction to secure this vehicle. The remaining balance must be paid with in 7 days of the end of the auction. The balance can be paid with cash in person, cashiers check, or wire transfer ONLY. FYI, WE HAVE A 2008 CADILLAC CTS WITH 56,000MILES AND ITS PEARL WHITE IN COLOR. IT ALSO WAS BUILT WITH THE CTS-V FRONT CLIP. THIS CAR SHOULD BE DONE IN A WEEK IF YOU WOULD RATHER HAVE A WHITE ONE. WE WILL BE ASKING LESS FOR THAT ONE SINCE WHITE IS MORE COMMON AND IT HAS 20,000 MORE MILES THEN OUR ORANGE ONE. I WON'T HAVE AN EXACT PRICE UNTIL ITS FINISHED. GUESSING AROUND 19-20K. WE ALSO HAVE A 2009 CTS-V Clone that is silver in color 30,000miles. Here are all the bad things that i could find about this vehicle, Overall i would give this car a 9.5 out of 10. OUTSIDE ISSUES -3 of the 4 rims has signs of curb rash on them. 1 of them is bad enough that i would replace the rim if i were to keep this car, but its only surface damage, so you could leave it if you wanted. it won't affect you driving it. -There is a couple very small light dents on the chrome trim on the right front door -There is a slight dent on the left front fender where the hood meets the fender. Its not bad and you won't see it if your not looking for it. -There is a couple very small scratches above the left front door. these would buff out if you wanted them gone. You can't see is unless your are less then one foot away. INSIDE ISSUES -none that could be found other then average wear for a car with 30,000miles. Besides the items listed above, the vehicle shows only average wear and tear for a car that has 30,000miles on it. nothing is major, just get in and drive. fyi, we do have 1 key fobs for this car. Questions, If you have any questions, We prefer that you either e-mail us or come ask us in person. We won't call you, so please don't ask us. Your more then welcome to come and discuss any questions in person. All of our cars are located in Faribault, Minnesota 55021. Current Title, The current title is a salvage title. Please check with your state before bidding. Once you get this car inspected, it should come back as a prior salvage title/rebuilt title in your home state. I can get it inspected here in Minnesota, but that wouldn't do you any good if you live out of state. If I do get it inspected here, and send the title into Minnesota, then its going to take about 3 months for the state of Minnesota to send me the prior salvage title back. I know for a fact that this car will pass a Minnesota state inspection with flying colors or your money back. Other state's might require something different, so please check before you bid. All sales are final. We will provide you with a bill of sale, title, repair receipts, and photos of the car before it was repaired. You shouldn't need anything more then what I listed above, but if there is, let us know and we will do our best to get you anything you need to get this vehicle inspected in your home state. Att: Minnesota buyers, You will be charged sales tax at a rate of 6.5%, plus plates, tabs, and title transfer fees. You will also need to get this vehicle inspected with in the next year and we will provide you will all the receipts and Minnesota Affidavit of Reconstruction paperwork that you will need to get it inspected. You will be provided with a 21 day permit to drive this vehicle right away, and then we will get the plates for you and they will be mailed to you or you can pick this up if you are local. You have one year to get this vehicle inspected before Minnesota will issue you new license tabs. The inspection process is easy and only takes about 20mins. We will provide you with the dates and times of your nearest inspection center. After it has been inspected, you will get a new title back from the State of Minnesota that will give it a Prior Salvage Title Status. According to the State, that means that it is a clear title. According to everyone else, its still a salvage title. Att: Non-Minnesota buyers, You will NOT be charged any added fees. You will owe the exact amount of your final bid and thats all. You will be given the receipts for the repairs in the event you need them. You will also need to check with your local DMV to check the process of transferring a salvage title in your home state before you bid. You will be given a 21day permit to drive this vehicle home, but after that, you are on your own. You should be able to take the title to your dmv and get it transferred and get plates right away, but some states might have a different process that you need to go though, so please check that out before you bid. After the inspection is done in your home state, you should be issued a prior salvage/rebuilt title. Shipping, Shipping is at Buyers expense. If you can't come pick this up in person and you want us to ship it for you, we can set that up. Clearly the farther away you are, the more it's going to cost. Average shipping costs are about $150 in Minnesota, $300 in upper midwest, $500 to outer midwest (Texas,Ohio,Montana,Colorado), and coastal areas are about $700-$900. Depending on where you are, it could take anywhere from 2 to 8 business days before you receive this vehicle if its shipped. Deposit, After this auction ends, we will need a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit with in 48hrs of the end of this auction. If you come here and decide that you don't want to buy the vehicle for whatever reason, we will refund $250 of that deposit and keep $250. Warranty, Most auto manufacturers don't stand by the factory warranty with a car has a salvage title, however some still do. So its up to you to contact your local dealership to see if the factory warranty is still active. ALL auto manufacturers still do stand by recalls. So if this car is in need of a recall, take it back to the dealership and they will fix the recalled item. On the other hand, if you have any accident or accident repair issues with this car with in the first 30days let us know and we will usually take care of the problem at no charge as long as you bring the car back to us. Salvage Title Info, Info below was pulled from Wikipedia about salvage titles. In the United States, a salvage title is a form of vehicle title branding, which notes that the vehicle has been severely damaged and/or deemed a total loss by an insurance company that paid a claim on it. The criteria for determining when a salvage title is issued differ considerably by state. In a minority of states, regulations require a salvage title for stolen vehicles but, in others, it is issued only for losses due to damage. Under some circumstances, a salvage title denotation may be removed or replaced with a Rebuilt Salvage designation and cars imported to, or exported from, the United States may be issued a clean title regardless of history. Because a salvage title can be issued to a vehicle with easy repairable problems or no damage whatsoever, the low cost of the salvaged motorcycle or car is appealing to some hobbyists and investors. Determination of Salvage Status, In general, a vehicle is deemed "salvage" when the insurer determines that the repair or replacement cost is in excess of approximately 75% of its market value at the time of the accident or theft. Thresholds range between 50% and 95% of the vehicle's value, while "total loss states" leave the specifics to the insurer. Upon paying the claim, the insurer may offer to return the vehicle to the owner as an insurance buy-back, in which case the owner is responsible for having the repairs made and having the car inspected by a State-designated facility. Depending on the state, this inspection may remove the salvage brand from the vehicle's title. The exact percentage of value that triggers the decision to total the vehicle is guided by applicable laws and regulations. The damage estimate is calculated at retail repair rates, which may be more than the cost of wholesale repair. Vehicles that are not bought back are auctioned as salvage to an auto recycler or a rebuilder and given a salvage title. Are All Salvage Titles Bad? No, They aren't. Thats just like saying all Clean Title cars are good. There are alot of salvage titles cars out there that have little to no damage due to theft recovery, or since insurance companies won't use aftermarket parts and need to use brand new factory parts. If those factory parts are on back order, they aren't going to wait weeks or months until they can get those parts again. So something as simple as damage to a 01-06 GMC Yukon Denali front impact bumper that costs $300 new, that totaled out about 100 trucks last year because of the GM bankruptcy that shut down the manufacturing of those bumpers. Thus no one could get that part so insurance companies just totaled them all out rather then to wait the 6 months to get a new bumper. Are All Clean Titles Cars Accident Free? No, Most of you have probly been in an accident at one point or another. If your accident was a deer hit, most of the time that is repairable. Your local body shop made the repairs and you were good to go. However no one will ever know and it wasn't marked on your title. It still may have been a great car after that, but just like salvage title cars, they can be great and hassle free for years after the repairs have been made. In another example, if you had a newer car, and you didn't have full coverage insurance and you drove your car into a local lake, ditch, hit a tree, another car, ect. You would have some damage that you might not have taken to a body shop and had the repairs done correctly. Thus passing on future possible issues to a new owner. The truth is, that you don't know what or where a car has been unless you bought it brand new. And as you know, buying brand new will cost you a lot more then buying used. So even if the worst case happens and you buy a salvage title car that you know has been in an accident, you know what you are buying and you are paying less for that. So even if something happens to the motor, transmission, battery, tires, ect. You saved thousands by buying a salvage title over buying a used car with a clear title and that savings will likely cover the cost of the repairs. The truth is any car either brand new, used, or salvage title can break down at any given time. We take pride in our cars and do our best to make our customers happy with their purchase. Our feedback is important to us and we will do our best to make sure you come back to buy from us again in the future.
