1984 Toyota pickup truck (4x4) Condition: Yes this is an old truck but one thats has been loved more then most it's age! Lets start with the engine; 4 years a go I ripped out the old engine and put in a bran NEW 22R ENGINE. It came with a 5 year warrenty so has 1 more year to go. Thats way the millage is so low, 33,900. The body has 222,000 miles on it. The radiator is industrial strength, not the stock, so over heating is not a possibility. I just replaced the transmission last year, new, and a new fuel injector was put installed Dec. 1st this year... days ago. I do most of the work myself, that way I know what is being done and how it is being done. It is a VERY reliable 4 banger that has enough torque to crawl out of most any situations off road, plus has driven cross country several times. It just has the stock carburator, which was going to be my next replacement, but does fine. The suspension is in great condition and the shocks have been replaced 5 years ago. There is no rust to be found on any parts of the frame and the underbelly. It is a 4 wheel drive truck, and has hub locks. The whole system is in great working order. The body is in fair condition. There are some rust spots but I have maintained them so they are not spreading or growing. They are only found on the bed of the truck. There are minor dents and scratches, and dings, but nothing big. Remember, it's a 84, and been offroading just as much as highway driving. It is built like a tank, plus has custom steel bumpers, front and back. I also installed additional fog lights on the front steel bumper. The interior is in fair condition to. I took out the old bench set and put in bucket seats. Made a center consol and behind the drivers seat book shelves. The radio in new and works, but some of the wiring has come loose so just needs to be redone. (an easy project, just have not gotten around to it) All other electronic work. No power steering. The wind shield is cracked but not bad. The drivers side window does not roll down but can be done with your hands, up and down. The e-brake cable broke, common thing in these trucks and is also an easy fix or you can get it fixed for under 100$. The bed of the truck is in good shape and I made a bed back there with storage under. I used to live it. The camper was white but I painted it black and is in good shape. There are side doors as well as the back. All work and lock. The truck has front and back roof racks and a yamaha bike rack. The truck also has a tow hitch. The tiers are only a year old and in perfect condition. History: I am the second owner and the previous owner was a good friend who drove it off the lot bran new. I bought it in Idaho. I have all the paper work from everything that has ever been done on the truck, including recites. I have saved them plus got them when I bought the truck.
