You are bidding on a 1979 Camaro Z28 with a very desirable combination... factory black on black, 350, 4speed, 3.73 posi rear, t-top car. The car is being sold as numbers matching however the original numbers matching engine is currently out of the car and in need of a rebuild. The original engine will be included in the auction and given to the winner. Under the hood is a 90's GM 350 4 bolt main crate motor. The car is sold with the build sheet (pictured) and owners manual (pictured). Condition: Exterior- The black paint is "driver" quality and shines very well as can be seen in pictures. You will not be imbarassed driving this car. The car appears to have been painted within the past 5 years. The fiberglass nose of the car was not primed correctly and the paint is starting to chip as seen in pics. The quarter panels appear to have been replaced, the passenger side has some cracking in the paint where the body work was not done correctly (see pic). Interior- The interior is also in driver quality, the driver seat is worn (needs recovering) and will need some work to the lower brace which is common in most camaros and trans ams. The dashboard is in great shape. The rug appears to have been replaced recently. The camaro does not have A/C, the windows are crank and the locks are manual. The car is being sold without a radio. Drivetrain- Engine- As stated earlier the numbers matching 350 engine is out of the car and is included in the auction. Under the hood is a 90's GM 350 4 bolt main crate motor that runs and sounds awesome. The heads have been redone with new valve seals, also new are "ALL" gaskets, fuel pump, and water pump, $500+ aluminum radiator. The engine is equipped with headers and a warmed up cam. The car does not have exhaust past the headers. Rear- The rear is the original 3.73 posi that came equipped on all 4 speed cars. The car is being sold with the chrome Cragar wheels seen in pictures, however we do have a very nice set of steel 5 spoke Z28 ralleys with tires that will be available to the winner of the auction for addition monies. Transmission- The transmission is the original vin stamped borg warner 4 speed manual (The trans just underwent a complete rebuild with less than 1 mile on it) The clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and flywheel are also brand new. I have tried to describe this vehicle as accurately as possible and i encourage anyone seriously interested to make an appointment to inspect for themselves or have a third party inspection done.
