Vehicle Detail

1969 Honda CB350 K1 Twin *This is a NO RESERVE Auction! If you want a bike that's ready to ride and looks great without having to hunt for parts or spend hours in the garage only to be frustrated, This is it! Here's a link to a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdvCRs_7vyQ Description: Up for auction is a 1969 Honda CB350 K1 Type 1 with a clear Arizona title in the previous owner's name. This is the second year production of the CB350 and in my opinion the best of the series. The '68 and '69 also have a higher performance cam and redline than the later models. Many people say that Honda were their own enemies when the CB350 Four debuted several years later and was criticized for being heavier, slower, and more expensive than the earlier CB350 Twin counterparts many had grown fond of. The CB350 is said to be the highest selling motorcycle in America, with around 300,000 units sold. However, many were treated carelessly and finding a decent CB350 in stock condition, that hasn't been thrashed, abused, or converted to a cafe racer, is becoming rare. Not so with this bike. This Honda runs exceptionally with just over 4,000 miles on the clock. The engine and transmission operate without snatch or hesitation. It is honestly one of the smoothest shifting and clutching bikes I have ridden. All the electronics work as can be expected. The gauges are crystal clear and look like new. Several new parts have been installed: NOS Grips, Air filters, Blinkers, Driver Pegs. Also a quality reproduction seat cover in the correct year and style. I also kept the original cover if the winner would like that as well. The frame and body has new paint with the exception of the sidecovers, since they didn't really require it. The chrome is original and has a brilliant shine but also some occasional scratches and pits, mostly unseen on the carb tops, which can be expected for a 40+ year old bike. The engine is oiltight and the oil has been changed with Castrol motorcycle oil, non synthetic, since the engine has only 4,000 miles. (It is important to use a motorcycle specific oil since the engine and transmission share a common sump, meaning the engine and transmission use the same oil). Also included are a Honda parts catalogue, Service manual, and Owner's manual. I was planning on keeping this for a very long time but, unfortunately, I have to sell this to stay afloat financially. This would make a nice present since Christmas is approaching. This bike will only climb in value as the vintage Japanese motorcycles are becoming more sought after. Plus. it's better than having investments on wallstreet, since you can take this for a ride, rather than the other way around. Payment and Shipping: There will be a $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction end and full payment via paypal or cash/money order within 5 days please. I can deliver the bike to your destination for a reasonable fee since I have a truck with an appropriate loading ramp, tie-downs, and you wouldn't have to involve a middle man. Please contact me for more info on this matter. I guessing around $500 for 1500 miles one way, i.e. Iowa, give or take depending on your location. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Please, no time wasters. Thanks for looking and Happy Holidays!
