We spend a lot of time accurately and honestly listing our cars. We also do way more than the average seller here on ebay does before selling. It all starts with the selection process. We hand pick (in person) the vehicles that we buy. We then drive the vehicles back noting any mechanical issues. The car then goes to our local Goodyear and is put on a lift so we can check for leaks, worn suspension or brakes. We then repair any deficiencies right down to a burned out bulb. Then the car is vacuumed, wiped down with simple green cleaning products (we have been using simple green for over 20 years! Before being green trendy like it is today) The car then gets washed by hand with simple green car wash soap. Dried by hand and then waxed by hand. We do not use any silicone dressings or armor all. It is really easy to “grease” the interior of a car to make it appear to be clean. It is much more difficult and time consuming to actually clean the car (like we do) then to slather armor all over everything. When you see a car for sale with the dash, door panels, tires, engine and even the spare tire so greasy that it looks like they wiped it down with a pork chop… You know that they are just doing the quick and dirty detail job. But they have to be. The police cannot have their cars breaking down on the way to an emergency because of a lack of proper maintenance. The Police Interceptor is the safest full size car that is on the road today. It has a five star crash rating for the driver and passenger. The P71 is also tested in a 75 MPH rear end collision. No other car in the world is tested to that standard. You cannot put a price on your safety. I am sad to see that Ford has quit making this excellent car. The front wheel drive Taurus that is replacing the P71 Vic is disappointing to say the least! Vehicle Condition: This car looks excellent, starts, runs, and drives great. Exterior: Ø This is a street appearance package crown vic. It is an option for the P71. Its call the element of surprise… Looks like a civilian Vic with its chrome grill, body color rear appliqué, crown Victoria badge, full door moldings. But is really a Police Interceptor Ø Paint is glossy. We washed and hand waxed this car. The paint looks good. There is some clear coat peeling on the hood on the drivers side. Ø There are some very small door dings, and scratches. None of which is horrible. Ø The body is straight on this car. Ø No cracked or broken glass. Windshield has several small stone chips Ø Only one plugged antenna hole on the center of the trunk. Ø Never had a lightbar or any decals on the body. Interior: Ø Very clean Ø Non Smoker Ø Never had a spotlight Ø Has a working auxiliary dome light. Often referred to as a “ticket light” Ø There are two small holes on the dash Ø Seats are nice Ø Carpet floor is very clean. Ø Radio works Ø Power windows work Ø Power door locks work. Rear doors open from the inside and the outside Ø Power mirrors work Ø Wipers work Ø All lights work Ø Horn works Drivetrain/Mechanical: Ø Engine runs smooth and strong Ø NO Leaks or unwelcome noises (Pinging, Knocking, Rattles, ETC) Ø Transmission shifts quick and firm (Just like it is supposed to) Ø Air conditioning is cold Ø Steering is tight Ø Brakes stop the car fast with no vibrations or unwelcome noises. Front brake pads have 40% pad life remaining. The rear brakes have 60% pad life remaining. Ø The Goodyear Eagle RS-A V Speed Rated Tires have 70% tread remaining up front and 80% in the rear. Recent Maintenance Performed: Ø Oil and filter just changed with Motorcraft 5w20 semi synthetic oil and a new oil filter Ø Transmission fluid just flushed with mercon V fluid Ø Tires balanced Ø Four wheel alignment This car does have some miles on it. But remember a detective drove this car. It was Not out on patrol, pursuits or idled to death. I have driven this car over 400 miles. It is in excellent condition. It drives like it has 60k miles on it. The only problem to speak of is the clearcoat on the hood. Which is starting to come up. Other than that the car looks, runs and drives great!
