1978 Ranchero. I bought this car for the engine, but have decided to go a different way, thought about keeping it considering how good shape it is in, but I am cleaning up before winter sets in. so its up for sale. I know very little of history on this car. do know its a west coast car and has very little to no rust. car has been sitting for quite a while. gas tank will need replaced or at least removed and cleaned. gas has strong stale odor, and small particles keep pluging up fuel filter. engine runs and sounds good. no ticks or knocks. ( thats what I bought it for) we drove car on my trailer when I picked it up. like I said I know very little about car but will gladly answer any questions about I can. It could be a nice car and easy project for restoring. WINDSHEILD IS CRACKED. bed in good shape has had a spray in liner at one time. and has held up very well. frame and floors all look solid, interior shows its age, but is all there, car will need to be towed or trailered due to fuel problem. I do have the title its a California title and open. ready for purchaser to feel in, would like a 500. deposit with in 72 hrs pick-up of vehicle is soley responsibilty of winner I will help any way I can. pick-up time is not an issue as long as we agree to some arrangement I just ordered a new gas tank for this car, should be here before auction ends, I will include it with car.
