2004 Ford Taurus SES - Sold As Is This car was in tip-top shape when we purchased it. Two weeks later, my husband was rear-ended and neither insurance company would pay (long story). The car still runs and looks great except for the bashed-in trunk. The airbags did not deploy in the accident and no injuries (nor interior damage) were caused. When we bought the car, the Kelley Blue Book value was over $4500. Now the Kelley Blue Book estimates it is worth just under $2800 (of course that would increase, again, if it were returned to its original glory -- we just don't have the time or know-how).
